I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess.
Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess. Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.

Great pubs, great shops, the Tor and the Abbey were lovely places to visit, think next time we’ll try the Chalice Well garden too.
A lovely vibe going on, friendly people, just felt like a really chilled out place to be, loved it
I was surprised that being a small hotel, there were so many details that had been taken care of (nice toiletries, fine coffee and tea in the room) It was really clean and with decoration details.
Graham and his wife are wonderful hosts. They made you feel very welcomed in their place. Last but not at all least, the breakfast was superb! Lots of variety specially cooked for you. Location is a 10 minute ride from Glastonbury, so we found that very convenient.
Wonderful stay! Warm atmosphere!
Highly recommendable hotel! Thank you Graham
Visiting from America this hotel certainly met my expectations for staying in a historic property! So much atmosphere! Loved it. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff that went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and the best it could be. Thank you to them. Great location, close to the Abbey and Chalice Well. We had dinner at the hotel and the food and service were excellent. Parking at the rear in the pay car park was convenient and reasonable. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend.
Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)
The flat is very well positioned within short walking distance to everything in Glastonbury typically visited. It is opposite the Chalice Well, right near the white spring at the foot of The Tor.
The bus stop is a short walk so a lot of interesting places can be visited by bus from Glastonbury.
It is clean, spacious and well priced. There is a full size stove and fridge which were clean and worked well.
I stayed for nearly 2 weeks.
If you want to experience Glastonbury with all the comforts of a 4* plus accommodation then this is the place to stay. There is a lovely secret garden to enjoy a glass of wine with the convenience of having a fridge near by. The breakfast ingredients are locally sourced which is evident through the quality. I will definitely see you again next year thank you Paula and team.
Perfect walkable location for the beginning of my retreat week in Glastonbury. Other guests were quiet and respectful. The meditation room was a lovely respite at day's end. The Abbey Farm Cafe is a wonderful resource a short walk up the hill or prepare your own breakfast at Camelot with organic produce and fresh eggs. The house manager was gracious and helpful.
Friendly, welcoming staff. Hotel located in a fantastic location for exploring all Glastonbury has to offer. wonderful array of books, artefacts, tarot cards and even a ritual room available for use. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. So nice to eat communally and meet interesting people from all over the world. can’t wait to come back!
It was so well set up, cosy, beautiful location. I travel loads for work, so this felt like a home not a hotel. I loved how close I was to Glastonbury for my meetings but that I felt like I was on holiday.
Being able to cook dinner, breakfast and make up some lunch was also great, saved me a lot of money too.
If you're unsure about anything in Glastonbury, Jeremy and Claudie have a long list of hidden gems to keep you adventuring day after day. A very clean space, in an incredible location, with very supportive home keepers, I really enjoyed and loved my stay at Stargaia Retreat. And the views! Stunning.
A new build but with real character and lovely touches. Very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the delicious eggs from the owners hen coop and the beautiful garden. Perfect stopover for our weary family to recharge after the Glastonbury festival.
lovely place right near the town centre. comfortable place with everything you could need for your stay. If I came to Glastonbury again, I would look to see if this place was available.
Loved the games that were available, really made it a good stay.
What a delightful stay we had!
St Anne's is a very special place in Glastonbury - very warm and welcoming, a fabulous attic room, a very enjoyable breakfast, and we will definitely return for longer next time.
Highly recommended!
Hotel is very characterful and quirky. Great location in the centre of Glastonbury. Comfortable bar and outside areas. Ate dinner there one evening which was good. Enjoyed chatting with the pigeon outside our bedroom window.
The Crown is right in the Main Street of Glastonbury. I stayed in the Bob Marley room and it was very quiet even with the hotel downstairs. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. The food was good and coffee great.
All food is excellent. Warm atmosphere, friendly, down to earth staff. Loved it! Location perfect for a Glastonbury experience! Charming rooms, lively goings on. Will definitely stay again.
Have stayed here several times and have been totally satisfied each time. Gorgeous little hideaway in the middle of Glastonbury town with everything you need :)
