the beer was ok

the toilet seat was broke, the door didnt shut right, the shower was leaking. no entertainment at night bar shut early. breakfast was cold aired and made me ill

dark corridors - i was unable to see the key hole on the door. cleanliness - sanitary packet found in cupboard, beer can in the bathroom. facilities - no toilet roll or extra towels, some lights did not work. availability of staff - tried to call reception every day/week prior to arrival. health and safety - lights/pictures hanging off the walls. When the window was open the wind would blow in and the ceiling tiles would shake furiously. Sign in reception stating "Please let us know if your room needs cleaning" suggesting this is not checked. You could smoke in the bar area.

Attitude from the staff very unhelpful, not interested in the customer - hotel not as described we asked for a family room, their ways of thinking family room was a double room with a double bed pushed up next to bunk beds. I've destined the hotel if you can call it a hotel as backpackers however there was no choice for a doss house.

the rooms were small and not very clean, bed sheets had stains and the hot/cold water for the shower was either or, and a really fusty smell in the rooms and landings.

Smelt unclean . Was unclean, no working shower , photos advitised are Miss leading,made me not want to eat there so I can't comment on the food, I wouldn't reccomend this hotel

i disliked everything place smelt horrible , dirty, creepy, went for breakfast took one look then walked out i was apalled by the place totally disgusting has put me of places like that forever, i would never recommend the place if i didnt have kids i would have gone and slept on the streets I never go out without a shower that morning i did shower disgusting

Staff very friendly and helpfull in all ways Eddie was such a lovely person bed linen very clean nice white towels although only one each

Room was a bit small and toilet area also could do with a bit revamp very dark colours and stairs were steep maybe bit more cleaning as dust around but generally good value for money although bit out of town but Eddie was lovely and when asked to get room hoovered they did thank u x

the breckfast was best thing at hotel no complaints

found dirty sock that was left by someone else that was stopping in room before us ,there was one loo roll didnt bring no more we had a family of seven and was all crammed in one standard double room,the cleaners didnt clean the room once was there any cleaners working there at all.altogther very poor standard wont be stopping there again!

I liked that it was a 5minute walk to pleasure beach

The chef is also the dj/ cleaner, The rooms dont get cleaned until u leave We paid for breckfast inc, they forgot to ad us so we got crapy leftovers The food is dryed up and over cooked It does not look like the picture and the hotel needs a makeover And it was boring even tv had a crack in it not impressed... Will avoid at all costs!!!

The room was dirty, bedding on lower bunk not changed been slept in, duvet and pillows stained and dirty, duvet covers did not fit. old sock under bunk bed hairclips and discarded chewing gum paper on floor. wardrobe shelf collapse. knobs missing on drawers. sink cracked. shower cubicle floor had hole in. paid for evening meal £60 had little choice mainly Indian food which we do not like so had to choose steak and chips with starter. what did we get. starter- 2 slices of garlic bread. main-quick fry thin steak which was like rubber with chips which had been fried several times making them soaked with fat. desert- supermarket trifle. served by a young bloke who dragged himself about as though did not want to be bothered. We complained to owner who basically said tough we got your money no refund. Said this is budget hotel, we said no excuse for cleanliness and value for money. This holiday was for our golden wedding anniversary on 25th and we took our handicapped daughter. It ruined the occassion. We left next morning and booked in to another B&B. As there was no-one in reception that morning we left a note asking for some refund of the £280 paid. where can we go from here if he does not refund us?

Well where do I start??? This hotel should be closed down! I can't believe hotels like this still exist! It has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and all the comments on the previous reviews are 100% correct! Room was filthy, cobwebs everywhere, windows broken, lights didn't work, tv in the room was like something from the ark, Curtains had paint all over them, cupboards falling apart and just about everything you would expect from a run down squat is here!!! With Blackpool having so many good value and excellant hotels I would urge anyone not to book here! It seems that this hotel will go on and on wasting people's money until it is eventually closed down!!! Terrible!!!

i certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. extremely dirty,sheets "may "have been changed but duvet covers were not. no hairdryer in the toilet, no master key if you wantur beds made up.

There wasn't much I like apart from the location

Well where do I start. Arrived on the way to the room other guest stopped us and asked have we just arrived and said don't expect much. Arrived in the room carpet need a good clean and Hoover, cigarette ash over the pillow, dark and dingy, marks and carved graffiti of names over the walls and door frames, dirty windows, window ledge dirty and paint flaking away. Complained to staff no apology just blamed cleaner who was sat in reception looked like he could do with a good wash/bath. We left the hotel with no offer of a refund and we found a lovely clean hotel a few doors down. I was very disappointed as the pictures on the site looked nice but was no where near the standard they portray on the website

Nice location, it was to have chat with the polish chef every morning and injoy a good cooked breakfast,all the staff are friendly and l injoyed playing pool with barman and the gaffy,l was on my own had a good weeks holiday.

It was a bit quiet in week cam to live at the weekend

The hotel was an absolute disgrace. The room was filled with cobwebs, the TV did not work, the sheets were stained, windows were broken with glass missing and other windows would not close; leaving them to bang open all night in the wind keeping us up all night. The room was smaller than a prison cell and the staff were rude. We were not permitted to change rooms in light of the above and were not allowed a refund. The hotel ruined our holiday.

Very Clean, staff were very friendly and on cal 24/7. Good views from our window. Area was very quiet. Great Value for money and just a great over all experience i would recommend if anybody wants a great time away in Blackpool with a great budget to try this hotel. Will be going back myself.
