Score from 365 reviews Good
the staff were pleasant
really needs painted and decorated and a good cleaning, curtains hanging off, very old fashioned and an old smell.
Fine for a short stay, nothing more or less than expected. Would use again.
full of disgusting lechy men
The location is good and the catering staff are happy to help which is very important.
The receptionist is unfriendly and unwelcoming. With that sort of character, we don't think we are coming back anymore. The bed doesn't have a mattress protector either which is off-putting.
The room stank, the bathroom gave off a bad smell from the sink, I had to sleep with the window open. This also was quite noisy so in all a bad experience. It is far from the tube station, 10min walk plus another 30 to 40 min to get down town.
the staff were very pleasent
the sheets didnt fit the bed, there was no remote control for tv, it stated there was a hairdryer couldnt find one, there was a kettle but know milk
It was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
Can't really think of anything here.
Easy to get to from the underground
Bed sheets weren't big enough so came off in the night, the children would have preferred twin beds rather than a double and there were small things which could gave made the stay better.
Helpful staff. Good value for a night in London. Convenient for the motorway (2 miles). On site parking. Close to tube station (5 minutes walk). Will use again the next time we are in London.
Beds were not as comfortable as at home - though not many hotel beds are.
The price for the type of accommodation and it's location was good I thought. Would use again
Sheets too small
Staff were very rude to me and my friend for drinkin a can of red ball,(energy drink, non alcoholic) he said we have rules and can not bring drinks like that in the hotel. rooms are dirty, bedding dirty and room doors do not have proper locks, after trying to calmly explain the situation to the man behind the desk, he was very dismissive and patronising, continuesly repeating "your welcome, thank you" and would not listen, I asked for the mangers name and number and he refused to give me information, he refused to give any many back and said that the company does not have a complaints procedure, absolutely disgusted, however if you are planning to stay at golders green there is a very nice holiday express about 7 minute bus journey from station.
States breakfast included-does not state continental only tea/coffee facilities in room - no spoon TV partially behind curtain, needed to be open to watch Front door broken on arrival
Clean towels and bathroom, and toilet. good location
No wifi connection in rooms, receptionist didn't care. Receptionist not professional, calling customers personal names, flirting. Receptionist lacks information. Duvet not being ever washed in room, only changed sheet underneath that, disgusting. TV too high that I couldn't reach it with no remote control, very dusty. Uncomfortable bed, bad matrace. Very cold. No spoon, mouldy old tea bags for customers in room. Room not able to be locked from inside for security. I paid 50 £ which I could have paid for premierIn for much higher quality. Hotel price should get low. It was ok for sleeping over one night but not enjoyment and would not come back. Pictures are old, not realistic. Duvet with no case is seriously not good as hundreds people sleep in it.
Size of room Location to Central London with free parking Bathroom facilities were adequate
Was swapped rooms without informing us. No locks on windows or doors subsequently windows wouldn't shut properly Handle falling off bathroom door Cigarette burn in bed sheet No milk in room. Had to ask for remote control to TV which was very small.
The staff was awful and the room was awful.
I cannot think of a single item that I could consider likeable
In my honest opinion careful consideration should be given whether this "hotel" should even feature on your site, Offering rooms at this location is clearly a sideline to the day to day homing waifs and strays. My triple room was not as featured in pictures but a ground floor room with à window that had no means of closing, three beds made from odd bases adourned with damp smelly sheets, filthy carpets and door hanging off wardrobe, door handle fell off on wardrobe sized bathroom under bizarre state of refurb, tea and coffee in room? Thatll be the tea bag in a filthy cup I presume..dont ask for milk dear me too busy to help take your own! Breakfast? On sitting in another small room the site of a basket of boiled eggs and various random items like what you have in back of cupboard I decided against following the "ask for toast" sign just awell the man doing it had a duffell coat on overseeing his 5 toasters. Did I complain? No I didnt I was glad to be out alive from this place. I could go on but I genuinely want to forget this place I urge booking.com to remove the listing thank god I did not have my childeren with me
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff friendly. Despite being a busy part of London, this hotel provides parking and also managed to find off road parking with little difficulty. Breakfast is a simple affair and the staff seem genuinely friendly. I will be staying here again
As a business traveller, better wifi would be good. And if you are looking for a 4000 calorie full English breakfast, you are looking at the wrong place.
Friendly Staff All you could ask for in a short stay
Location, a good 10mins walk from the nearest Underground station
Can't really say what we like as when we booked the hotel, we already anticipated it won't be fantastic.
none.Perhaps the owner can increase the choice of the breakfast and may be one more worker to help in the breakfast room. It took nearly 20 mins for our toast and fried egg to be cooked as only one staff in charge at that time. Coffee and tea are tasteless as it is from a cheap brand.
staff & the room. it wasn't a hotel. it didn't looked like a hotel
Pleasant staff, easy to get to, comfy bed and a 24 hour reception. Good transport links to London form the station.
Nice hotel! A bit old, but well kept if you don't look too closely. I would recommend it!
The breakfast is a bit meagre, but there are enough other palaces around the hotel where you can get a nice breakfast.
24 hour reception
Ants all over the bathroom Shower was very difficult to get in and out of Too much electrical wiring showing
