I booked a twin room in this hotel based on picture on your website. Upon arrival, I was told double bed only. Was forced to make payment on check-in. Room was absolutely disgusting, bed clothes & chair all badly stained. Room in total disrepair. I requested a refund but no joy. Booked another hotel so did not actually stay here. It's a disgrace to call this a hotel

My partner and I woke up with bed bugs, the bed itself looked like it had been found in a skip. The sheets were clean, but too small to fit the bed. The room in general looks tired and tatty. I was not impressed with the breakfast selection, so the point that I would not east anything for fear of food poisoning. Generally a really bad experience, all round.

The guy on the desk was very helpful and provided me with good company, conversation and a lot of grteen tea which was much appreciated:) Although as you'll read the aesthetics and decor were not the most pleasant it was warm, had hot water, very comfy bed, the area was very safe, really near some fab restaurants...so everything you need for passing through an area. Bathroom and bedsheets/towels were spotless. I would recommend the hotel as a stop gap passing through rather than a place to chill out in for rest and relaxation. To be honest I hadn't been to london in 10 yrs and forgot how expensive it was so when I saw the room my heart sank. I knew I was going budget but thought it would be more pleasant than it was . There were slabs of wood covering holes in walls, untidy patch up diy and the cup in my room was greasy when I made some tea. THaving said that though it was so peaceful, comfy, quiet and I had the most comfortable sleep. A real life faulty towers that surprisingly won me over.

The staff where helpful in moving rooms and general area knowledge. The accommodation was very dated, with the first room tv not working and bed covers torn. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor as the mattress was very dirty, also the curtain and general areas unclean.

Affordability and easy access to the train stations to London. The hotel should improve the quality of its breakfast. Bacon and sausages are a standard component of breakfast. The hotel must also improve the quality and options of the TV network. We live in a modern world in which you cannot subject or restrict clients to five grainy and boring TV channels when many are available.

Wasnt too expensive, quite a good location etc The things I disliked were 1)I booked a twin room but upon email confirmation was told it was a twin or double. When we arrived we found it was a double,so me and my opposite se friend did not have a bed each.So I had to sleep on the floor.I Had emailed asking for extra pillows/blankets but these were not given to me.When we asked we were offered 2 pillowcases, eventually got a sheet but I was very cold on the floor all night! Also there was no plug for the bath, when we asked for a plug the woman on reception told us " a bathplug is not necessary!"..eventually we did find one that fitted in the kitchen area of the hotel.

Location was extremely good....close to Golders Green tube and good connections to Brent Cross, Victoria and central London (Selfridges, Hamleys', Marble Arch etc) -Slight case of bed bugs in the first night. Walls are really very thing so you hear what is going on in every other room, but it is liveable.

The service was good and the personnel are quite good n nice. But the only thing we encountered was that it was so noisy and it disturbed during the night when doors were used. Banging and it created depression when suddenly you are awake. They donot changed the bed sheets during our 3days stay, even once. You can hear noises especially when someone entered and closed doors. So disgusting.

I was very satisfied with everything especially thinking of the low price of the room. The room was nice, great shower, good and healthy breakfast, and very nice staff. I would def. Come back! If I would say anything that wasn't great, it would be that the room smelled a bit of old cigarette smoke. But it wasn't too bad.
