what'S not to like , place, people and service top notch

Everything about this place showed great attention to detail; real milk in room, some sweeties, cotton pads, fantastic bed and pillows, toiletries in bathroom. The guesthouse itself is very clean, comfortable and sympathetically decorated in keeping with a beautiful period property. We were highly impressed with breakfast and had a lovely, albeit, short stay.

Good value for money

Everything we needed was there, tea and biscuits in room, free wifi, fluffy towels. Breakfast was wonderful and was a great start to the stay. Alison was very helpful and we felt very comfortable. The bedroom was clean, fresh and had beautiful view of the golf course.

Friendly & congenial hosts

Proximity to golf, downtown, everything, good breakfast. In the evening no one was in the dining room! I guess everyone went to the local pubs which are nearby and plentiful. Would go back again.

My wife and I arrived at 21.00 for a quick overnight stay prior to an early morning departure from Prestwick Airport. We were welcomed at the front door by the lady owner who made us most welcome and showed us our room. We were most impressed by the high standards of the public rooms and the bedroom. The en suite bathroom was state-of-the-art. The whole place was spotless. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 05.30hrs so we could not have their breakfast. I'm sure it would have been as good as the rest of what was on offer. Definitely somewhere to go back to if using Prestwick again to fly out of the country.
