Clean and spacious room
Poor view and rather bland Italian food.
The surroundings were nice! The rooms were clean and well equipped (ironing board, etc.)
The service at dinner was comic, the waiter coudnt open a wine bottle. The WiFi was not working at several occasions. The gym was the worst ever, several machines were broken and the ones workíng probably bought in the nineties??
Full length mirror in room Pillows were stained and bed was a biit small and not realty that comfy Could of with a blind in our bathroom Otherwise decor was nice and do was the bathroom
The rooms were clean & had tea/coffee facilities
Staff were very rude & quite sharp with us it was booked as a wedding gift by my parents & they should have saved there money in all honesty not even given a complimentary chocolate least of all good manners.
Breakfast was overpriced and warm as opposed to hot.
The way the hotel managed a large group of 35 eating in the restaurant was excellent. Great food, super breakfast. Great ambience in bar and restaurant. very conveniently situated for the wedding we went to at Oakwell Hall.
The fact the white wine was warm and when I complained the staff said it had been chilled for half an hour!!!! They had no colder wine available so ebded up putting ice cubes in it. Not acceptable. Shower difficult to adjust.
It was very close to Oakwell Hall, where we were going to see an outdoor play. Oakwell Hall itself was very interesting. The Red House in Gomersal village was very interesting. The Old Silk Mills antiques and restaurant was very good value.
Nobody in the hotel had even heard about the play, even though it was taking place about a mile away. When we supplied them with leaflets about it, they promptly removed them. In a rural area, one would expect that everyone would know what was happening locally and help to promote it.
The location and facilities were excellent and we had a relaxing stay.
In the bathroom no loo roll holder, just loo rolls stacked on the shelf behind.
The room was very bright and comfortable. Very clean and good extras. Nice white fluffy towels, good tea and coffee tray. Food in restaurant very nice and staff very friendly.
Bathroom could be a bit more modern to match rest of room. Probably why its just a three star hotel.
It wa convenient for us as we were attending a funeral in the area
Pillows - two were too much, one was not enough, otherwise a nice room
The hotel, room ant Italian restaurant was great..
The Spa was a major let down... We booked this night away on the basis it was a spa hotel... the spa is very very tired.....
Lovely room...very nicely furnished.
Recently very tastefully refurbished room with lovely view of hotel gardens. Enjoyed a visit to the swimming pool.
Very small 'double' bed. Noisy fan in bathroom that went on for ages
Average hotel. Comfortable enough room. OK for an overnight stay.
Buffet breakfast. Servery was a mess. Sausages were horrible.Tea - undrinkable, out of a flask!!! Baked beans were congealed and don't even start me on the solid scrambled eggs.... The extra half hour in bed would have been more enjoyable.
double room a bit too small
The staff are always excellent and I love the breakfast
I have used this hotel for 10 years and the "gym" has not had one improvement. They must be embarrassed by it.
We were greeted by friendly reception staff who told us all we needed to know. We booked a table to eat in the restaurant on our first evening, our meal was excellent and so was the service we received from the restaurant staff. Even thought here were weddings on both of the nights we stayed we didn't hear any of the noise from our room. Our room was spacious and clean, couldn't fault it. We were provided with towels for use in the leisure area and robes and slippers too. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice too.
If we were to pick fault with anything during our stay it would be the jacuzzi and pool area which looked tired, and the Jacuzzi was a little too warm so couldn't stay in it for very long, however we still enjoyed our swim and had a relax in the jacuzzi
Helpful staff; comfortable beds;good food and choice in restaurant with gluten-free diets available.
The accessibility of the lift from first floor, the small washbasin in the bathroom for people with disabilities. The electric sockets in the bedroom were not correctly placed for the hairdryer or iron. The leisure club was rather run down
Restaurant was excellent, good food and good service with helpful staff. Good spa, gym and pool facilities with robes/towels already in the room!
It was a hot day and no air conditioning and no fans available. But this is England so an exceptionally hot day!
the styling of the room
Comfort and clean, staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Menu options were a little limited however well presented and cooked. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy.
The peace and tranquility of the place, and it's location. It is situated off the main road, but when you get there the car parking is wonderful. Everybody who works there are very helpful. My wife and I will definitely be using the Park Hotel again.
The day before we left the Lift broke down! We were on the second floor and had to use the fire escape to carry our luggage down to the ground floor the next day.
Friendly staff, clean room, food average.
Gym very dated and certain machines out of order. swimming pool heavily chlorinated. Fried breakfast tasted like it had sat there for hours. £14 shocking!
Restaurant was very good, and good value for money. The room had a sofa to relax and watch a film on the TV, or over the internet using the free Wifi. Have already booked a second visit
The hotel is set in nice grounds and the facilities were all good. stayed here to visit friends locally couldny fault it.
A little noise from wedding party in early hrs, hardly a problem.
