really nice place, very comfortable, good breakfast, bit outside of town but they ave us a lift about 3 times to get into town. highly recommend it!
Upon returning home, I found that they had charged me twice for the room. I emailed them demanding a refund - but have had no reply, or refund.
the room was already ready before happy about that
The room and bathroom
Excellent location, clean hotel, friendly staff
Cleanliness, the size of the place, the size of the room, the noise from the subway, the internal noise from staff. Also we were lied, on the website says our room had an external but private bathroom, but we were sharing with another room. The pictures are nothing like the hotel itself.
Good location for Euston and St Pancras stations. Room was fairly clean and check in/out procedure quick and easy. Free wifi
Bed was uncomfortable and resembled a camp bed, room provided did not match images on the website which look much nicer, shared bathrooms not clean and very much in need of refurbishment.
Bed was big Room had enough space to move Room looked clean and tydy as well as furniture Kettle in the room with cups available. Sugar, coffee and tea in the room available.
Window didn't isolate Toilet was in very bad conditions, door wouldn't close. Very tight and narrow stairs to get up with a suitcase Poor conditions in case of fire
We needed somewhere to stay close to Kings Cross for the night and this was perfect. The staff we came into contact with were brilliant. i would stay here again if I needed to.
I'm not sure I could stay over for any length of time because of the shower arrangements. I'd prefer a shower in the room rather than a shared one. It's not a major issue but I have a preference.
Nothing at all, the room was very tinny and it was like hostel not a 2 star hotel.
Everything, the stairs were horrible and toilet didn't even had any papers or cleaning stuff. Apparent guest had to put deposit to have the tv remote control. This was worst experience I ever had.
WiFi worked very well. Big bed nice simple decor. Greeted upon arrival, friendly manager. didnt see any staff the rest of the evening though (before midnight) so couldn't resolve issues.
Big tv screen, no remote. Very loud upstairs guests. Bed covers thin woke up cold and dragged the blanket out the wardrobe. Shared bathroom was en suite size. Light bulb in room flickering constantly unless we tweaked the dimmer switch and had it at full brightness. Lamp would be great! Didn't see any staff the rest of the evening though (before midnight).
The hotel told us booking.com cancelled the room and they gave it away. we arrived at the hotel at 7 on Halloween. We were very lucky to find alternative accommodation.
Beds were kinda comfy sleep was ok
Stairs and bathrooms were awful- filthy, haven't been decorated like for some good 10 years. Receptionist wasn't very welcoming (polite though). In the room the main light wasn't working, the mirror light wasn't working. There was no remote for tv and also no buttons on the tv to turn it on. The bath towel was small, but it didn't matter as we didn't use the shower because there was no shampoo or a proper soap. There was kettle though, but we didn't drink tea because there was no milk- only tea whitener?.... No breakfast even though called "bed and breakfast". I think this place shuld not call themselves a hotel.
Good location! Easy go any where and spacial walk to train station.
The location meant that we didn't need to use the tube which was great.
The room are unclean, the hotel is run down and the flys and smell of damp is horrible. The pictures of the rooms on the website are all fake even the management told us that. We felt unsafe, ripped off and didn't even want to sleep on the horrid beds.
Had to knock on door for 15 minutes before staff let me in. Bedding was not very clean.
Nothing, except the location
Toilets were disgusting! The pictures were not showing the reality of uncleaness and the room condition. Our room was in the basement and we heard the underground. At this price, its better sleeping in an hostel. We slept with our clothes because we doubt about the cleaness of the sheets. Only one advise: CHOSE AN OTHER HOTEL!!
Close to St Pancras and the Eurostar. Very welcoming and friendly receptionist who compensated for us having a 3rd floor room-no lift-by carrying our cases up.
3 floors, no lift, rather small room. Bathroom difficult for a disabled person to access BUT we were thanked for pointing it out and assured it would be improved.
+Location very good. 10min walk from Euston Station and the general area felt very safe. +No breakfast provided, but lots of little cafes on same/adjacent road, including a Costa. +The room was tidy and had a pretty view out the window. +The wifi was decent and free. +The bed was incredibly comfortable (although no duvet) and I slept well. +I was able to leave my extra bag there for the rest of the day after checking out. +Staff were friendly enough, but not much help when a significant problem arose...
-Little things: Radiator had been left on full so when I arrived it was suffocatingly hot inside. Sink had no plug. Had to ask for TV remote as aren't left in room due to "previous bad experiences". Powdered milk provided, not even UHT - minor thing but seems needlessly cheap. Thankfully there's a newsagent literally next door where you can buy fresh milk. -Shower door in shared bathroom didn't close properly so made floor unavoidably wet after use. -Bathroom facilities a little grimy when you looked closely at corners etc. Broken towel dispenser. -Worst of all though, I got contacted barely 90mins before I could sign in (I was on the train to London already) to say my room was no longer available - they were overbooked. A cursory apology and no offer of help, seemed to pass the buck of blame on to this site. Booking.com by comparison were helpful and friendly, and miraculously a free twin room at the same place was free (!), which they managed to book me in to.
Not a thing!
The stuffed, smelly rooms; the dirty bed-covers and carpet; the service
Nothing. Do not stay here
Cleanliness, attitude of staff, rats, mice, spiders, noisy, awful beds
The manger was friendly, did see more than one member of staff working there. You could come and go as you please.
There was one towel in my room, I was there 4 days and not once did anything get changed or cleaned. There was only hand wash. If you were to lose your keys to the door after midnight no one would be there to let you In.
The shower wasn't working. The rooms were tiny and cramped I didn't enjoy my stay at all
- private place, tiny but friendly - good location, near King Cross station, near a good Italian restaurant
- tiny room, tiny TV - no one clean the room for our 6 day stay - Only one light on the room that shined directly to our eyes when bedding. I have to turn it off most of the time
