Was reasonably priced and quiet. Room clean and of a good size.

Very difficult to find without a satnav as it is tucked away and there are very few signs to the hotel. The bed was rock hard and not that comfortable. The tv was a small 14" crt type screen and was virtually impossible to see the screen well given the size of room and the location it was placed in. Put in flat screens, a hotel chain of this size should be able to do that easily. We tried to put the heating on as it got cold later in the evening but there was no hot water running through the radiator!!

Parking was easy

bedroom 66 , freezing cold, heating was not working on arrival, i hoped it would have come on automatic when i returned from a night out, instead it was ice cold the entire night. buffet breakfast was appalling and when i tried to give feedback the very young and inexperienced deputy manager did a lot of smiling and defending of the buffet. He should have just walked over and looked at it... but ideally tasted the cold fried egg, dry scambled egg and dried baked beans... Staff were not interested in resolve, no discount offered at all. Whereas a nigh without any heat... p.s. in the morning the radiator came on at around 08.30 am, but was no way sufficient to heat the " annex room"

We chose Gorse Hill because it is conveniently situated close to our daughter and her husband.

It was friendly, without being efficient. The room was comfortable. The grounds were impressive.

The plumbing needed urgent attention. Hot water took over ten minutes to come through during both evening and morning. The bar was closed at half past nine. There was no room service. The staff, whilst friendly, were not trained in the art of hotel management.

The room was very small, even for a solo traveller. Water pressure in the shower was very weak and I could not adjust the temperature of the radiator in the bathroom.

Great setting. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to stay there and will certainly be going again.

Lovely countryside location yet near major highways. The facility has been beautifully renovated while maintaining its original charm.

The posted check-out time of 9:30 is early, especially for a non- business traveler.

Quite location not far from Woking city centre

Tv facilities and equipment out of date, I had to retune the tv myself when they were working on the digital switchover as nearly all channels were lost.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed and large bathroom. Easy parking. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic value for money!

Good location near to both Woking and Guildford but in pleasant, quiet setting. The room was a good size and nicely furnished. Excellent breakfast included in the price. The price through Booking.com made it very good value.

My room was on the second floor with no lift and as I have a back problem I would have appreciated help with my bag. The room was poorly lit which made it hard to read especially as the bulb in one sidelight blew. There was a bath rather than a shower which was not that well cleaned and the room was a bit dusty. At the discount rate I would not complain but I would if paying the full rate.
