It is very peaceful, the rooms are superbly decorated and well equipped. Value for money and very relaxed.

Although I have never had any complaints during various stays, on this occasion we were hassled by the room cleaning staff before the due departure time - a phone call and door knocked twice.

Location!

It's not clear that that it's a conference venue as well as a hotel, so on the evening I stayed there was a 'lively' conference group in the restaurant, which made for a non relaxing atmosphere!

Biggest problem - no mobile phone signal in room, making completing business difficult - mainly not being able to receive calls. - plug to bath broken so unable to have bath without using a screwdriver to remove plug - with a bad back a hot bath is often a great help

Why have hotel bathroom designers not yet worked out that lights are needed around the mirror? Shaving or make up impossible with dull ceiling spots!

Good location near to both Woking and Guildford but in pleasant, quiet setting. The room was a good size and nicely furnished. Excellent breakfast included in the price. The price through Booking.com made it very good value.

My room was on the second floor with no lift and as I have a back problem I would have appreciated help with my bag. The room was poorly lit which made it hard to read especially as the bulb in one sidelight blew. There was a bath rather than a shower which was not that well cleaned and the room was a bit dusty. At the discount rate I would not complain but I would if paying the full rate.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel as we were at a family wedding in the hotel. Lovely hotel.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed and large bathroom. Easy parking. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic value for money!

Very comfortable clean hotel, great welcome by staff very helpfull relaxed atmosphere with excellent facilities. Lovely grounds, disabled room very good, and placed ramps straight away to access areas required.

Some areas starting to look a bit shabby & dated but still a good place to stay.

Beautiful location, very quiet, apart from the heating system in our annex room that kept my wife awake most of the night. Excellent breakfast and polite staff. Would stay there again, but a shame we couldn't silence the rushing water through the radiator.Can't really complain at the reasonable advance price of the room.
