Lovely rooms nice and big with a lovely bathroom location was ok and good parking Didn't like the fact that the hotel is run by the staff at the local nisa shop as when I asked for a bill they didn't know how to print me one off also didn't like the fact that they didn't even know I was coming room could have been a bit cleaner but was passable good hotel just need some extra tlc to make it perfect

room lovely, very big & the bathroom was very spacious also. TV,DVD player all great - can take your dog too, which is amazing also. Good heating also. shower not very hot. milk in the room was gone off (oct 2012!! sort it out!) no staff on site, hd to go around to the local shop to get keys and be shown in by staff at the shop, which wasn't too bad, but is nice to see staff and ask how you stay was.

We had a late need for an overnight room whilst visiting our daughter at Swansea University, and were fortunate to come across this gem on the North Gower coast. As it was half term, many of our usual haunts were full, or wouldn't permit dogs (we have a Labrador) or had a minimum 2 night stay policy. We selected a Superior Dog-Friendly room which was huge, with a King size bed, and equally impressive Travertine bathroom with rain shower. It was a cold weekend, but the central heating was very effective, and the room was very comfortable. The complex is quite new, and bestowed with a glass, chrome and oak interior and tasteful artwork that would grace any good quality hotel. The room was well- furnished with solid oak furniture and included a mini-fridge which was great for chilling the milk we bought from the large and well-stocked store next door. The rooms must be well insulated - we heard no noise whatsoever whilst we were there. Reception is very 'hands-off' (via the adjoining store), but that doesn't bother me, though it might disappoint those who expect a more 'hands-on' approach. The pillows are very thin - I needed to fold mine over a couple of times to get the right 'density', so I would definitely recommend getting some decent ones. Out of season, the adjoining Cafe is not open, so meal options for breakfast are limited - this was clearly explained in the booking though.

The rooms were large. The 'staff' have certainly not been trained in the hospitality business. There were no greetings or goodbyes, there were very few 'please' and 'thank you' and no smiles. When paying the bill the person taking the payment was positively surly and uninterested.

Brand new hotel right in the middle of North Gower. Rooms were huge (ours had two single beds in it but there was easily room for another two) with tv, dvd, Fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Very nice modern bathroom with rain shower. There was no reception, check in/out was in the supermarket next door. The cafe for breakfast was closed in the morning, 2 star service for a 4 star price! Having said that the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find, good location, nice big room with a lovely veiw On arrival there is no receptionist only a note on door saying to call a number (which did not pick up or allow you to leave a message) or enquire in supermarket next door for assistance. None of this was detailed in booking info & would have been useful & saved us getting frustrated, annoyed & concerned on our arrival. Although I have marked Hotel staff as poor, the young girl who diid eventually assist us was very friendly & helpful

This accommodation is described as disabled friendly, but lift was not working and we were advised that it had been out of order for some time and was not scheduled to be repaired in the immediate future. However if lift was repaired it would be ideal for disabled access.

Ease of access and the fact that the shower was huge but not too powerful. Well stocked for an apartment accommodation too. It was very very warm, no bad thing but still very warm

The Shop next door had everything for a self catering stay. Our room was a great large size and bed was very comfortable. No real check in, was just taken up to our room and due to this was charged twice for the room

Good size room Absence if reception staff - no assistance on hand. Electronic key cards - not working on second day meant we couldn't get into the building. The shop was closed, no answer on the out of hours number, took an hour to track down any staff.

Fantastic hidden gem of a place - definitely exceeded expectations. High spec finish in serviced apartment, friendly staff but we were able to do our own thing. Not overlooked at all with a great view of the river. Very dog friendly - wish I'd known or I would have brought mine with! Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and spacious rooms with ensuite bathroom. It is next to a well equipped supermarket which opens late which is good, as the hotel is quite far from other shops or restaurants. The reception isn't always manned so you have to go into the supermarket to collect your room key.

Good size room, very clean. Was disappointed at check-in, having to go into local supermarket to get key. Room was not serviced on the Sunday, hence no replenishment of milk/tea etc.

You need to know that when we arrived they had no record of our reservation and said Booking.com had not passed it on.. It was sheer luck that they still had a family room available. I am not sure where the fault lies but clearly this is something you should take up with them. I would hesitate to use your booking engine again.

The view and the bathroom. Good sized rooms. kitchen floor very dirty and sticky, wasn't cleaned while we were there and there was nothing for us to clean it with. Sparsely furnished and the kitchen was very poorly equipped - with 3 pans, a potato peeler, wooden spoons and table cutlery. Could have done with at least one sharp knife, scissors, a frying pan, some sort of oven dish, serving spoon.... have had better equipment while camping! Having followed the instructions to leave dirty towels in the bath for changing, they were never actually changed. Also, the lift was permanently out of order, there was no reception and the numbers given to ring instead weren't answered and had no voice-mail. No reception means walking around the supermarket next door looking for a member of staff who would then invariably pass on our query to various other members of staff until they found someone to speak to us. The supermarket staff couldn't issue us with our room cards so gave us a master instead - just as well we're honest! The only thing 'premiere' about our room was the price.
