I thought the room was lovely and the bathroom was very spacious as my husband is disabled and he had plenty of room to get about very clean and most things available to you I would just like to complain about 2 things if there was a receptionist or a phone number which you could get hold of somebody there was no milk in the room and if you wanted any extra tea bags or milk you had to go into the shop and take your key so if your husband wanted to watch tv or have a shower while you went for it there would be no electric i think it would be a good idea to have a phone number which you could contact

A good size room and bathroom. One of the quietest Hotels we have stayed in. seemed like we were the only guests as we did not see anyone else ! The Supermarket next door was a real asset, well stocked and convenient opening hours. Bit confusing on arrival as no notification at the entrance that we had to go into the Supermarket to obtain the key. Suggest a note on the entrance door advising this.

The rooms were nicely decorated. No reception open, despite it being stated on booking form it would be open. We had to find a member of the staff in the supermarket. Only 1 towel was provided and there was no one to ask for more. Unable to contact anyone through the 3 phone numbers provided when we wanted to check out, glad there wasn't an emergency. Situated above a supermarket in a quiet village. No facilities, just a pub and chip shop. Rooms were big but not very comfortable, no atmosphere. We booked 2 nights but didn't want to stop another night there.

very spacious - in fact too spacious - kind of weird large room and not too much furniture. more or less clean. manager on charge very helpful (Anthony), it was not really a hotel - it was more like a weird apartment complex with no front desk or manager on charge except in the grocery store next door. a little quirky and odd. easy short drive to beach and beautiful countryside. also - no toiletries or even enough toilet rool in the room - very bare - no shampoo or soap or things - i had to ask about getting some. not quite pulled together - but could be very nice if they figured out how to run a hotel.also the elevator was broken.

Our stay was unfortunately spoilt by the fact that on arrival @ 02:00pm on Sunday 8th May there was no one there to meet us. There was a note on the door to refer us to the staff in the supermarket which is part of the hotel building. The staff, I believe, had no notice of our arrival but were able to sort things out and show us our room. The room was clean & very spacious but did not have a single chair in the room. When we complained about this we were provided with 2 dining chairs which was totally inappropriate for our needs. I later found 2 bucket seats on the landing of the hotel and swopped them for the dining chairs. We then found the milk in the room, left to make coffee was all ready open and had gone off. We was at the hotel? for 3 days instead of the 4 days booked and at no time did we see hotel staff in the hotel over than the second day when a staff member of the supermarket was seen leaving one of the hotel rooms. She was very helpful and arranged for us to change our room for one with a kitchenet. It is a great pity that we had these problems because the hotel, which should really be described as self catering rooms, could be very good if there was staff on hand to deal with problems. If we had arrived on the Sunday after the supermarket was closed @ 06:00pm then we would not have got in the hotel.

Dog friendly, large rooms, modern bathrooms, convenience store, option of self catering. We arrived within the booking time given, but owners had left premises. Room was dirty - floor covered in hairs, dirt and insects. Toilet was filthy, had not been cleaned at all and toilet brush broken. Staff in shop eventually cleaned room so we had to vacate. When we returned key didn't work. After being given another key, room had no electricity. After shop staff contacted owner, we were given another room, with dirty toilet and less room for dogs since it had an extra bed. We have been ripped off - should be given free night or complete refund.
