The location was ideal, close to tube station and easy to find. Staff was very friendly and room was clean and big for a single person Traffic noise as the room was facing the main room. Double glazing would have been useful. But I was so tired it didn't ake long before I fall asleep.

For this price range and knowing what kind of places one can get in central London, this was quite fair. The room was small, sure, but very clean and the bathroom spotless. Hard to find in many places in the UK sadly. I'd return for sure. The croissant breakfast was fine, but maybe some real fruit. The bed was a bit soft.

Tiny room in perfect condition. Freeview TV with all the usual channels, tea & coffee making facilities & immaculate bathroom. All spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast with choice. Polite and helpful staff. Perfect for a one-night crash after a work party and just a few minutes walk from my office for an early start next day. I'll definitely stay again. There was nothing that I did not like.

Good location, close to underground. Room small but quiet and clean. Small bathroom but brand new and clean. Room cleaning everyday. The Staff was grate and v. helpfull. Good place to stay for sightseeing. British Museum is close. I would stay next time in this hotel. No lift in the building. Reception and place for brekfast quite old - needs renovation. Only small continental brekfast, no vegetables.

The design and the servicescape of the hotel are excellent! Staffs are very accommodating and well-trained. Overall, it was a good experience :) The room is a bit too small. The breakfast choices are limited although the small roll provided is good.

The location, price and the fact that the hotel has just been refurbished. The single room was equivalent to a double, it was clean and comfortable (all new)and the en suite was the best I have seen being brand new and very well done.

Perfect location. Moreover rooms are very clean. First time I stayed at the Gower House, I was given a double room. This time it was a single room and it was very very small.

On a busy main road with no double glazing so it was loud throughout the . The heater in the bedroom was broken and wouldn't turn down and due to the noise outside we couldn't open the windows . It was like a sauna. Bathroom was dirty and the milk provided in the room was out of date.

I selected this hotel on the basis of the distance from where I needed to attend a meeting - the implied distance of about half-a-mile was very misleading. The premises were old/tired, though the room itself was perfectly acceptable. The steep narrow stairs down to the basement room would be a challenge to the less-able bodied, and the stairs themselves were not in good repair.

The room was warm comfortable and very clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. For breakfast there was a selection of cereals, fuit-salad and fruit juice. A carafe of coffee was beside these, but tea and hot chocolate were available on request. An individual basket with warmed danish pastry,a roll and croissant was brought to eachguest, Breakfast was available from 7.15 am which I personally found very convenient. A touch I liked was the small vase of flowers on each table every morning. Should the occassion arise I would be pleased to stay here again, and would happily recommend the Gower House Hotel to others. There was nothing I didn't like

We had a triple room with an extra bed, for ourselves and our 2 teenagers. The room was easily big enough for us all. The breakfast was fine, the staff were friendly. It was a great location and our room at the back was not too noisy and was lovely and warm. There was no clothes storage in the room. It was a shame not to have fresh fruit/yogurt at breakfast.

Friendly staff, very clean room, we always use wipes on hard surfaces and there really was no dirt.Very efficient heating. There is currently renovation work being done and the Finnish areas looked very nice.We will use this hotel again. : ) There was an Odour from the drain in the shower, and being at the front of the hotel the noise from the road was very loud, get some ear plugs to insure a good nights sleep.dont let this put you off its still good value for the money.
