Nothing for the price
Enjoyed the welcoming of the staff. Always available to meet your needs, friendly and polite.. Location was very good not too far from the station. Breakfast was well cooked.
Only issue I had which I hope will be sorted for my next trip is the WiFi Internet.. Which is crucial for my trip. It didn't work at all. I was told it had a problem which was fair on the staff.
Woman who worked there was extremely rude
The staff was helpful. The room (number 6) was spacious and warm. The breakfast was good and very welcome. The shared bathroom facilities were absolutely fine.
Bed bugs! That was the main issue. Although the linen was nice, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable due to springs that dug in to your back. There is a permanent gap in the window so that there is absolutely no sound proofing of the noise from the street (which includes cars, drunk people on a night out and loud party from downstairs). The wrestler stickers on the wardrobe were tacky but not a real issue. Dirty carpet. Coming away with bed bug bites was the real deal breaker.
Location, price, excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. Parking available.
No towel provided. No plug for wash basin in room.
The staff were amazing, they were really lovely and friendly and breakfast was just delicious! The bed was really comfortable, I slept really well.
It is ok . It is a good value for money . Would surly be back anytime I am around the city centre
cheap easy check in and out
only one toliet and bathroom shared with all other travellers. no tower nor soap is provided. The host is a little cold to us. The WiFi disconnected at times. And it was very slow at nights.
Location is a short walk from the railway station (along flat streets), room size was ample, comfortable bed, quiet street. It was simple to walk to the historic center of town.
No wifi, no electrical outlet so I could not recharge my cell phone.
Basically you get what u pay for, staff are very friendly and welcoming! Rooms are clean but very basic, shower facilities are dirty but again if you pay 30 pound for 1 night for 2 people you can't complain, so all in all a good place to stay at a cheap cost!! Thanks guys
The staff was very rude, rooms smile funny..
value for money met my basic accommodation needs
Comfy Bed Clean Sheets and Spacious room. Decent TV Cupboard for Clothes Small Table
Staff were abrupt, not rude, but almost agressive sounding Abrupt wake up, staff knocking on door to check out at 10am Check out times and check in times are ridiculous. Did not have breakfast, due to its unwelcoming atmosphere. reception desk over looks the dining tables in the same room. Poor Planning Reminds me more of a half way house than a B&B.
Location, cleanliness, and value.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast :)
A bit long walk to city centre
My son and I had a lovely stay.We had a warm welcome and we stay in a spacious clean comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent and we were looked after by two wonderful ladies who perpared and served our food. The service was excellent. We will definitely be going back.
We loved it all.
It was clean! Always a risk with small B&Bs. Room was a decent size had a sink with over head light and shaver / Electric toothbrush plug. I stayed in a single room. And was offered breakfast (option of toast, bacon, eggs or cereal) even though my room didn't include that option. Shower was nice and neat. Separate toilets although kept clean .
It wasn't made clear there were I male and female toilets. Ended up using the men's with a large fecal smear someone had kindly left. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.
Breakfast was good and the old mum waitress friendly
The room wasn't cozy. I wanted to work but there was no reading table. Bathroom was far from bedroom etc
We liked the location which was close to the University of Leicester as we were there for graduation ceremonies and we could walk to everything. We liked the large room. Though the manager was a short-term substitute, he was helpful and friendly. The beds were sufficiently comfortable.
We didn't like the mold in the shower stall. We didn't like the fact that we had to go to the breakfast room downstairs to use the wifi. The room was stuffy and hot during the day and the windows rattled with every breeze. A painter was painting the hallway walls as we carried our luggage into the room and though we tried to be careful, paint smudged my sweater.
Over charged for use of bunk bed
Very good location. 5 minutes walk to railway station and 5-7 minutes walk to victoriya park. Very friendky staff.
It is for one night stay only. Not recommended for families. Shared bathrooms and toilets. No towels.
Location was quite good although not central to town it was near station. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but language was difficult to understand.
Shared bathroom down corridor where you cant even use the bath! So basically a toilet and sink with a sad looking mop in corner. No towels provided not even paper towels No kettle in room, no glasses or cups - had to get paper ones from Tescos down the road to drink our wine! Tiny mirror - no full length one. Had to guess what outfit looked like for the party we had travelled up for. Basically it was a bed in a room for £45 - not that cheap for the Midlands. Breakfast finished at 9 - even on a Sunday. Room was on top floor - maybe other rooms a bit better - dont know.
the location was great only 10 min from train station it was clean and good for the price
breakfast wasn't great, basic accom', shared room toilets not working, dirty showers, a bit scruffy & unkempt generally - BUT that's reflected in the price & was overall perfectly adequate for our needs of a cheap well located place to crash out after a late night.
