The location and general staff were very good. The Spa was pretty good and breakfast was lovely. The room was average, the wait at reception (every time) was unacceptable, cleanliness of general areas was woeful.

The breakfast was very good, ample and impressive quality. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly. The location was perfect for other needs The reception staff were incompetent. Our daughter had called ahead to pay for the room on our behalf, but we were asked again for payment when we checked in. No apology from the staff for the mistake that had been made, and for the embarrassment incurred in front of other guests who were checking in.

Nice location, liked dining under glass over looking the lake. I pre-booked two rooms, upon arrival, there were only two rooms available, one was not ready and the other was a smoking room. Neither of us were smokers so was very disappointed as the room stank and so did all my clothes come the end of the second day.

Stained bat in room 311. Not happy about having to pay more money for a latte at breakfast,i am a barista and I know that it doesn't cost any more really for a latte to be made than an Americano.

The significant amount of time it took to check in and be allocated a room. No table was available for dinner until 9pm - we ate elsewhere.

The building was ok for a big hotel. The dining room staff were very helpful but too few of them. I liked the cereals for breakfast My daughter liked the pool. The room was well designed and maintained I liked the express checkout The two kettles in the room did not work. The housekeeper said she would get a new one but didn't. The television was impossible to operate. After two attempts I failed to get BBC 1 The shower was impossible to control and potentially dangerous. Room service failed to answer Concierge failed to answer Food in the restaurant was pretentious and basically inedible. My daughter ordered a sandwich for lunch which came with chips that were brown on the outside but uncooked in the centre. After my failure to get the kettles in the room to work I did manage to get room service and ordered a pot of tea which was totally undrinkable in spite of my being very thirsty. I think it was probably made with a lot of teabags and water from a hot tap

I stay away A lot and this hotel looks like it wants A redecorate and rooms are old fashion, in need of modernization. bar required more staff, we waited for service, then went to the bar and got drinks our selves. would not stay hear again, brighten, the place up.
