THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND VERY COMFORTABLE.

The quality of the rooms and the comfort of the beds. Rooms are clean and fresh. Loved the views of the harbour from the room balcony. Food quality was ok. Reception staff were excellent and the concierge was helpful. Breakfast selection and food quality very good.
Could not believe that the kitchen refused to make up a cheese plate for myself and another guest - not on the menu so you can't have it. Seemed mean and unfriendly. If chefs are going to work on the breakfast buffet serving customers then please provide them with some customer service training. The male bar staff are neither friendly or welcoming and one has an abrupt manner.

Was a large room could have accommodated larger bed and second armchair generally two armchairs required for couple booking.

Price of drinks
It was excellent value for money due a special rate at a quiet time of year. It was a pleasant stay, felt more like a mini holiday. The car park was full due to a function, I appreciate the concierge staff taking the keys and finding a parking space for me. I found the reception/concierge helpful, corteous and professional. It makes a nice difference especially after a long drive. The room was as clean and well presented, consistent with my expectations of a 4 star hotel.
Charging an extra £2.50 for using a debit card to pay for the room is cheeky. If the management is that desperate to extort money by stealth, I suggest they add it to the room price and not make irritating additions on checkout. It's an irritating tactic best left to dodgy budget airlines, not suitable for the best hotel in a city.
Very relaxing evening in the spa and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in all in all an excellent night
Location is good close to cruise terminal and West Quay shopping centre. Rooms are modern. Bar and lobby is nice.
£10 charge per day for parking. Decore is slightly bland.
As we pre booked our stay I think we should of been told that the Chelsea football team were staying the same night as us. We were not allowed to use the lift or any facility's if any of the football team where using them Couldn't get on for breakfast in the morning ended up checking out and going else where to eat Also bed was Rock hard And they took the payment from my bank 21/2 weeks after my stay not happy

Place is getting very shabby; peeling wallpaper, dirty carpet in restaurant. Dinner was nice but very expensive for what it was (steak).

The convinence of being close to west quay shopping centre
Hotel has been revamped sad before had great ambiance (grand piano taken away from bar) not the only guests to be disappointed by this
I like the location of the hotel, and nothing you asked for was too much trouble which was nice.
Felt the breakfast Choice was a bit limited for a 4 star hotel. Also the 10 pound per day parking charge should be waived or lowered for guests staying at the hotel.
Great location for shopping and the city centre. Very well presented hotel and friendly reception staff.
Initially confronted by a drunken guest at the main entrance upon arrival which was not nice to see. Bedroom was dusty, bathroom mirror streaky and old scratched plastic cups. Restaurant menu is limited. Spent a lot of time waiting to be served and the waitresses seemed to focus attention on the more regular guests? Very disappointing stay, swapped to this more expensive hotel from the Mercure! Bad decision

Lifts were terribly slow and frustrating Hotel was too expensive for the quality we received. Pool and changing facilities were dirty and smelled. There was a light broken in the pool which just had red and white warning tape round it. Breakfast was expensive.

Too little staff in the restaurant and quality below average at best. This used to be a top class hotel but has now deteriorated massively
