We really like the Grand Harbour, this is our 3rd visit and not the last.

Adjoining room which I did not want, handicap room which very uncomfortable. One bed was like a hammock, had to literally pull my wife out of it, mattress worn completely out, horrible.when you flush the toilet it sounded like a steamship fog horn going off, very loud and annoying, heard many of these noises in the room all night from other rooms. Window broken. Conscierge no help at all with directions, tour information etc. all in all a very poor and sorry stay for us and will not be back

Handy location for the cruise terminals. Great breakfast facilities. Luggage handling excellent. Room clean and quiet.

bedroom lovely - dining room very elegant and food excellent - also lovely outside veranda with large pond with ducks - super place to sit in the sun with a drink

check in was a shambles with so many people checking in (for cruises) all at the same time and only 2 check in people and we had to stand in line a second time to get our keys as we were all too early - must have stood in line for 20 mins each time - not good - also they don't tell you the kettle is in a cupboard under the TV !

Location, the room was very nice but a little hot, no air-con. Fantastic view. Spa treatment wonderful. Evening meal fantastic. Bar staff very friendly.

Room was not made up when we arrived at 7pm. They now charge extra for latte at breakfast and anything that's not on the buffet at breakfast which is new since my last stay in february. I feel the price of the room is expensive enough to swallow those charges of £1.50 for a coffee and £2.50 for breakfast. Booking.com did not pass our booking through as 3 nights, but split it as 2 nights twin room and 1 night double so we had a problem checking in and although sorted, they then thought we were moving out of our room after 2 nights and I had to explain again. I booked 3 nights in one reservations so....

Good location. Rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast excellent.

The staff were very friendly.

I think that the hotel was under staffed, the hotel was fully booked and the poor staff had to keep apologising for keeping everyone waiting. There should be a better way to check in guests.

Staff in restaurant for dinner and breakfast were excellent. Wonderful location.

Checking in took longer than usual. Only two staff working. Parking exit difficulties on Bank Holiday Monday not sorted out by Reception Staff.

We visited Peppa Pig & Paultons Park‎ with kids and stayed in this hotel. This was worst hotel I ever had. • No one recognized name of hotel De Vere Grand Harbour, real name was Grand Harbour. • We thought booked twin room for £179, in reality it was double bed room. I asked reception provide kids cot. They promised, but at the end not delivered, so we had to manage make bed using chairs and blanket cover. • Main reason booking this hotel was swimming pool. When I decided to go with kids after park, admin said kids not allowed after 20:00. So I missed my promise to my kids. • I ask reception what would be cost to add breakfast. To get answer I wait 30 minute. So it become worse paying money for this kind service.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff and super room with a balcony. Stayed there before and both times can't wait to go back.

No Hot water. Someone already in our room on arrival. Decor looking very tired. Being told we started charge for car parking in 2001 "SIR'! Funny! when we stayed here 3 weeks prior to this visit and it was free.

Put us in the wrong room then asked us to move after 30 minutes. The reception area had long queues and there was a £10 charge for the car park whilst other hotels include this in the price.

Had to queue for 30 minutes to check in. No concierge had to wait for 10 minutes to collect case. No hot water in morning . Had to queue for breakfast.

The 'can do' attitude of the staff. One reception member was extremely helpful in arranging urgent car hire and route planning. The Concierge staff were also extremely helpful and knowledgeable

A Great Overnight Stay Before A Cruise

Staff were very friendly, the hotel facilities were excellent and the food superb. We understand that the hotel will be refurbished later this year so whilst it was clean, it seems that there is some room for improvement. Location excellent for the city centre and docks.

At peak time, not enough parking space and pricey at £10 per day
