staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. One restaurant not open on our visit but highly recommend the bear and ragged staff pub opposite. Food excellent value for money and excellent staff! An absolute Must visit! Absolutely hated the fact I had to walk out onto a main road in the pouring rain, walk up the street and around the corner to go and have my breakfast!! The rooms cannot be accessed via the reception area and vice versa. It was very inconvenient

Nice staff It was advertised as four star. It is only three. There was no bar, only a "bar" with two cans of beer and some wine. You had to sit on a bench in reception to drink. No restaurant. Breakfast not good.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Having a room on the 3rd floor (no lifts). Looking forward to the menu as advertised on theire web site - to be told the restuarant wasnt open - but 20% discount was available at their sister restuarants (ok if you like Indian food). Looking forward to a cup of tea after journey (cartoons of milk were bad). Got the feeling loo roll was limited lol - quater of a roll on the holder but no spare.

The room that i used was the Elizabeth 1 room. it was grand, high ceilings and the bath room was just huge. nice. TV reception was poor and the choice of channels was limited. it is situated right on the main road that run through Kenilworth. the noise in the from that i was in which bordered the main road was abysmal. at 03:30 the drag strip started. nice Old world style windows, Zero noise attenuation.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast good apart from the sausages. There were no coat hangers and none brought when asked. There was no haridryer but one was quickly found and it was a good one. The sausages with breakfast were terrible.

First of the staff very courtious and helpful Ideally located for useful shops and some excellent resteraunts there own Bistro was closed for kitchen refurbishment but they referred me to there own resteraunt Raffles just 100 meters down the road and I was very glad they did so the food was excellent. very busy for that time of the week with local people so that in itself is indicative of the food again staff where excellent and service plus presentation excellent. I know I only marked the Hotel as good but that allows me to give an excellent next time I visit and I will surely try there other resteraunt and hopefully there Bistro should it be open as the Menu looked good would definetly reccomend and I stay in Hotels around the countryy 3 to 4 days a week

Clean spacious and very quiet room. Excellent breakfast, we tried the full English and the vegetarian and both are perfect. The bathroom was roomy and had both a shower and a bath. As a bonus the staff could not have been smarter, and more helpful and friendly. The bistro was closed during our stay, the menue looked very most interesting too.

Locality to nec Birmingham, it was only 20mins away We had a twin room and the bed was a zip and link bed and made two really small beds, should have stayed as a double room. It was a little dated in style

Location is good - very close to town centre and Old Kenilworth. Also beside main bus route and restaurants. Our bathroom had a back door which led straight onto the main bars, as such it wasn't as private as we'd have liked and the music from the bar on Saturday night was incredibly loud in our room. There was a smell of damp throughout and cobwebs although the bed linen was fairly clean.

Very impressed with the helpfulness and politeness of the staff. The room was clean and the bathroom was very modern. The breakfasts we had in the morning were of a very high standard, good quality food, well presented and served. The bar could have had a better variety of beers.

The hotel is easily accessible by road and has adequate carparking facilities. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The newly opened Bistro offered good food at reasonable prices. An hotel I would have no hesitation using again if I should be back in the area. The hotel is not accessible to anyone with disabilities. The lack of a lift is a serious drawback (a help with luggage up to our room would have been appreaciated).
