Location was good and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel needs a refurbishment. We were on the second floor which would have been difficult had we had a bigger/heavier case with us. We also had to go outside and down the road to the main building for breakfast which , had it been raining, would have been annoying. Cost was very reasonable and breakfast acceptable

First of the staff very courtious and helpful Ideally located for useful shops and some excellent resteraunts there own Bistro was closed for kitchen refurbishment but they referred me to there own resteraunt Raffles just 100 meters down the road and I was very glad they did so the food was excellent. very busy for that time of the week with local people so that in itself is indicative of the food again staff where excellent and service plus presentation excellent. I know I only marked the Hotel as good but that allows me to give an excellent next time I visit and I will surely try there other resteraunt and hopefully there Bistro should it be open as the Menu looked good would definetly reccomend and I stay in Hotels around the countryy 3 to 4 days a week

Clean spacious and very quiet room. Excellent breakfast, we tried the full English and the vegetarian and both are perfect. The bathroom was roomy and had both a shower and a bath. As a bonus the staff could not have been smarter, and more helpful and friendly. The bistro was closed during our stay, the menue looked very most interesting too.

Locality to nec Birmingham, it was only 20mins away We had a twin room and the bed was a zip and link bed and made two really small beds, should have stayed as a double room. It was a little dated in style

Location is good - very close to town centre and Old Kenilworth. Also beside main bus route and restaurants. Our bathroom had a back door which led straight onto the main bars, as such it wasn't as private as we'd have liked and the music from the bar on Saturday night was incredibly loud in our room. There was a smell of damp throughout and cobwebs although the bed linen was fairly clean.

Very impressed with the helpfulness and politeness of the staff. The room was clean and the bathroom was very modern. The breakfasts we had in the morning were of a very high standard, good quality food, well presented and served. The bar could have had a better variety of beers.

The hotel is easily accessible by road and has adequate carparking facilities. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The newly opened Bistro offered good food at reasonable prices. An hotel I would have no hesitation using again if I should be back in the area. The hotel is not accessible to anyone with disabilities. The lack of a lift is a serious drawback (a help with luggage up to our room would have been appreaciated).

Comfortable bed. English breakfast. When I moved my stuff in on exiting the room the door lock was faulty resulting in me having to move to another room for the first night.I Moved back to my own room the following morning only to find me standing under a cold shower,no hot water in the room. The sink plug could not be released when I tried to empty the sink. The faults were reported to the manager. The hot water was put right but not the sink plug.Considering the problems I encountered I could not reccommend this hotel to a friend.

The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. We had a lovely large family room with trouser press, hairdryer, complimentary water, tea & coffee. Along with the great english & continental breakfast this hotel is excellent value for money. I would definitely stay again. The negative reviews I read before I went - I don't agree with any of them!!!

The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast room was lovely and breakfast times very good (early to 10 am). Very good breakfast buffet and also offered a very nice vegetarian cooked breakfast which was appreciated. Room facilities were good - biscuits with tea/coffee, complimentary bottles of water, loads of storage space. The room was very "tired" and was in need of refurbishment. Parking was a problem as the carpark was very small and it was a first come first serve basis. We ended up having to leave our car parked there and rely on relatives to act as taxi service which wasn't ideal.

The staff were polite. Kenilworth is a nice little place central for surrounding tourist places. Our room was at the front of the hotel on the noisy main road. The hotel is above 3 restaurants, the smell of cooking oil is ever present. Worn and dirty carpets in the breakfast and reception ares. The breakfast was of a very poor standard, not as described on the menu, pan cooked mushrooms were a sliced mushroom which tasted like it had been cooked in a deep fat fryer in dirty oil as did the single slice of bacon and the chipolata sausage. Parking is limited.
