Staff are really helpful and friendly and dealt quickly with any requests. Location is great for the beach and castle. Tiscali restaurant is a little expensive but food quality is excellent. Patio bar is outside the front of the hotel and a great place to unwind.
Room and lobby was very dark, we had to ask for extra lighting. Not the most comfortable bed or room seating and the biggest downside was no balcony.
Location is great with a view of the bay. The rooms are very comfortable.
Wifi was down the entire duration of my stay, which I had to discover myself rather than being informed as I checked in. The staff's English language skills were poor, enough to make communication at times a challenge.
Gym Food Location Nice rooms Good lounge
Breakfast was slow as they forgot the order
Staff friendly and very helpful couldn't fault the breakfast excellent. Location was great hired a car managed to navigate the island very easily.
One small point stayed at the weekend in a room at the back of the hotel refuse collection woke us up both mornings at 6am!
Staff 10/10 ,food 10/10, rooms and the hotel great .
the car parking , shower was too hot or cold
Prompt check in and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Good amenities. A full size bath. Very quiet.
View from the room was roof tops and kitchen vents that belched out curry type fumes in the morning. Shape of the room was strange with the wardrobe very dominant.
The staff, particularly the concierge, were as always very helpful and welcomed me back to the hotel. Rooms are comfortable although the TV can only really be seen sitting in bed (like many hotels).
Meat products served a breakfast were either of poor quality or poorly cooked. Sausages had no taste, bacon seemed to be cooked in baulk and the beef fillet I had at dinner needed more cooking even though served rare as recommended. Kippers were on small fillets. Tissali Restaurant is nice but expensive. Worth a visit. A pot of coffee contained only 1 and 1/3 cups (our standard amount). The picture of the hotel is taken from across the Esplanade and part of the promenade.
1. Breakfast was excellent - great choice. 2. Nice comfortable bed. 3. Huge TV. 4. Price.
1. TV system - one of the worst systems I have come across. 2. Not the easiest place to navigate with no signs to help. 3. Free Wi-Fi is limited to 50mb/24hrs!
1. The sea view from my room. 2. The outdoor terrace. 3. The helpful concierge, (something of a rarity here) that attempted to find a charger for my camera. 4. Fairly central location to St Helier
1. The tired and frankly poor buffet breakfast. Much better to advise guests to help themselves to fruit/ cereals etc and and take a hot breakfast order rather than waste so much food, or leave it to dry or wilt.Very, very disappointing for a hotel of this standard. 2. The general lack of customer concern from hello to farewell, (with one outstanding exception!) There's comfortably relaxed and then there's unwittingly disinterested. 3. Unservicable bathroom lamps and Shaving mirror that had a broken swivel joint, with a small undersized bolt holding it all together. This are not the standards one realisically expects from a hotel boasting 5 stars. Not awful, and tolerable, but certainly not 5 Star standard either.
Lovely comfortable bed Excellent breakfast Brilliant restaurant staff Brilliant concierge Nice outside bar Clean
Housekeeping slow to make twin beds in to double. Asked twice and still not done until requested again following day.
Staff very helpful and friendly, room was very good size.
Hotel dinner in Victoria's restaurant not tasty enough
Everything. Excellent staff accomadation and fooc.
The dual carriageway but not the hotel fault. The views across the bay are stunning. Our 3rd time here so not put off. Ask for high floor if light sleeper
Staff and service excellent very friendly, polite and extremely helpful!
Wi-Fi was a bit flaky
Staff could not be any better, brilliant and very pleasent. Breakfast selection was supurb. Would be happy to recommend to anyone looking for a pleasent stay.
Only thing I could recomend for improvement would be that some of the bedroom furnishings are a little bit tired.
Excellent Hotel , good location , Lovely spa . Really enjoyable stay
Very attentive staff and good facilities
New TV system which is not yet working properly. In spite of many visits by staff, still unable to watch without picture break-up. Wi-Fi had to be connected daily as would not remain connected for week.
Location is perfect for town and all amenities. The front perfect when sun is shining.
Appreciate it is hotel prices but drinks are expensive.
The whole experience
The traffic noise
The attentive staff. The quality furnished rooms. and bathrooms. Excellent spa and pool. Excellent breakfasts. A reasonable good price for 5 star quality
A busy main road runs outside the hotel which spoils your pleasure of the sea opposite when sitting in the outside veranda.
We enjoyed every bit of our stay, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was amazing and catered for our every need! The spa was also lovely.
The beds were a bit uncomfortable, needed new mattresses.
50Mb Wifi limit!
Staff charming and very helpful. Room clean and well serviced with toiletries & refreshments. Good access to wifi.
My wife and I booked a table for Dinner on Saturday night for 7pm. Staff in Dining room charming and calm but service was slow. We received our starter by 8pm and the waiter apologised stating that the kitchen was very busy with all the functions. We waited until gone 8.30pm and our main course had not arrived. No staff available to express our concern to so we got up from the table and reported our concern and disappointment to Reception Staff. If the kitchen could not cope we should not have be given a reservation. Later a member of reception staff called our room and asked if we would like the meal in our room. We gave up & had our meal at an excellent restaurant - Little Italy who know how to coordinate their kitchen with bookings.
attention to detail, civility of all staff, a very pleasant stay.
sauna was out of action. requires a chill out room after the steam and pool.(it did not detract from a wonderful weeks stay.)
Size of room Friendliness of all staff Little included extras - bottles of water, storage of luggage on day of departure, PC & printer
Busy road outside of the hotel
