Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa    

Excellent service, room to a high standard, lovely pool and spa treatments. Food good overall. Nice bar area.

Breakfast could have been warmer, bacon not good. Food slightly overpriced and temporary restaurant lacking in atmosphere. Shower had slight leak.

Power points inaccessible, mirror position, once things moved no room for laptop, dreadful outlook,moved from even worse, dirty mouldy silicon in bathroom

From arriving and seeing the outside patio area and being greeted by VERY friendly, efficient, helpful staff, to leaving I could not fault the place.

See previous comment. Nothing to complain about however with having no outdoor pool, an outside sunbathing area would be nice

Generally a very good service

Everything was fine not anything we didn't like.

Location was Fab! Sea view room a must - view directly toward Elizabeth Castle. Staff were efficient - particularly at breakfast, and whilst the knowledge of the two concierge's we spoke too was "limited" they were keen to help and looked up info for us. Would certainly stay again - we're not quite a mature couple either! Near lots of lovely restaurants too.

Cleaner appeared to make a cursory sweep of our room - we stayed 4 nights - tea bags on short supply and dust a plenty! But saying that it certainly wasn't dirty and beds were turned down every night

terrace bar staff when the sun was shining generally pleasant surroundings both bars would let one order food and drink that wasn't on the menu

nothing subtle about the eagerness of reception and concierge staff on arrival, after that they were less helpful unless one was paying for something phone in room kept being dialled by accident "spa" - small jacuzzi, gloomy pool, and sauna / steam room

Excellent place to stay, close to shops and main bus station. Very easy to travel round the island from hotel, we used 5 day travel tickets. Good position on sea front with lovely outside terrace for tea or drinks. Staff very pleasant and welcoming, rooms spacious. Excellent hotel. Would love to return again next year.

Every member of staff was courteous, pleasant and very helpful. Fantastic location. Rooms were clean and equipped with everything you needed. Fantastic private cinema room which was something different to the norm. Drinking wine on the terrace with fantastic views, you couldn't beat it!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with helpful & friendly staff who were always polite. The hotel dining was lovely & plenty of choice at breakfast

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was well appointed however not exceptional! Spa was very relaxing, and the overall appeal was very good.

Room 105, floors above creeked resuling in loss of sleep. Steps into the bathroom creeked causing unfortunate awakening of partner. Steps outside room also creeked. Doors in corridoor slamed causing minor readings on the worlds seismic sensors, the shower curtain situated too far into the bath leaving little room to manoeuvre without being clung to by said curtain. All these can be fixed with the attention to detail that makes an ok hotel, an exceptional one. I challenge Mr Elliot to stay in room 105 to experience for himself these problems that are so easily remedied.

The heater in room 242 would not work at all, and there was serious mold growing in the window.absolutely no view at all, bit like jail must be.

Maid service disappointing,beds not made up properly, dust and bits of cotton on bedroom floor for 3 days. Bathroom left with empty shower and shampoo bottles

Walkable to town centre and beach just across the road

Parking was a nightmare, although to be fair the staff helped out by parking cars.

Room comfortable and clean. Location very good

The pool was closed when we wanted to use it so making this not a spa hotel. The bathroom was very small so it was tricky getting out of the over the bath shower. Food was average. Half empty toiletries in the bathroom on arrival. We complained to the hotel on check out and by email since our return about the pool not being available but they have not bothered to reply
