The location, staff and pool contributed to a pleasant stay.
Very poor WIFI reception, our first night was in a very small room with a window that did not open and a very creaking floor above. Beware rooms on the back.
Great hotel, very warm welcome and helpful staff throughout our stay. Very comfortable room with a lovely side view of the sea front/promenade. Shame the weather was so bad - very wet and windy - but I definitely intend to return and bring my husband next time.
Spa Concierge service, parking Dinner menu Friendly Reception
Plastic shower curtain Windows in room sealed shut Musak in b'fast & dining room Buffet b'fast, needs 5* table service Difficult to find Hotel entrance Room a bit small (no 323)
Very friendly staff and large and comfortable room with sea view
Location and the overall comfort of the hotel. It was modern but not to utilitarian. The staff were very accommodating especially one of the girls on reception whose name I can't remember however I know she's from Amsterdam. Top marks.
Fantastically located hotel, very helpful staff.
More of a good 4* with 5* prices. Breakfast same old same old no imagination, and no vegetarian options whatsoever. Bar ridiculously overpriced.
Excellent hotel, excellent location, staff & restaurant
All good for me
What a lovely hotel. Staff was so helpful and the food was excellent. Would go back.
Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast excellent. Facilities superb.
Lovely food nice staff Nice balcony
A lot of noise from room above footsteps 117.
Damp on walls
Room 306 overlooked extractor fans and pigeon roosting area. Quite unpleasant to say the least. Luckily as the weather was good we were out and about most of the time.
My husband and I went in September and we were really lucky with the weather. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the late afternoon looking out at Elizabeth Castle. There is a busy road between the hotel and the sea but you don't really notice this as they have music playing. Breakfast was really good, buffet but they will cook things like poached eggs to order. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant or use the spa facilities so can't comment on these. Staff were all very helpful and polite.
Layout of room. TV on wall where the dressing table mirror would normally be. One of bedside tables was larger than normal and had a mirror but no socket for hairdryer near this and it was cramped and awkward to use mirror. They weren't very generous with biscuits in room only one pack with 2 biscuits. The underground car park was very small and tight to park in but we did always manage to get a space. They usually park and collect your car for you but my husband did see them trying to polish out a scratch on a car.
Extremely helpful staff! when staying there check out the private cinema in the basement!
Having to leave
This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location right on the seafront. There is a bus stop just 50 yards after the hotel entrance so it is ideal for catching the bus from the airport. Exceptional breakfast and good spa & swimming facilities.
Good food staff excellent
It was quiet
Water pressure was low, TV didn't work.
The searoom view was really nice, good to have a balcony. The spa was perfect, very clean & helpful staff. Excellent choice for breakfast.
Spa treatments very good with an excellent 2course lunch. Fantastic sea front position with only short stroll into town centre Staff very professional and couldn't be more helpful
The location is excellent as are all the waiting staff, who never serve without having a little 'talk' too.
There was no wi fi internet available for our first 48 hours and even once it was 'repaired' it was very, very slow
