The area the hotel was in and that the hotel was nice and clean yes the breakfast poor selection, no uniform for staff and requested a few week before that the children I was bringing with me ( all 16 ) I would need them on the same floor but we were split up on different floors not very convenient |

We really liked the staff here. They were friendly and very helpful as well as knowledgeable about London, the underground, theatres etc. and they did not mind that I usually had a series of questions for them. Secondly, this was a great location! We could walk in three parks close by (Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James Park) and shopping was also nearby as well as two underground stations. We felt good about staying at the Grand Plaza as people were coming and going, the staff was well dressed, the lobby clean and spacious. It was a nice place to come home to. Our apartment was larger than we expected, but there were stains on the upholstered furniture and the carpet. The bed was small and the floor in the bedroom was uneven. These are fairly minor complaints considering the beautiful building, the great location and the wonderful staff. |

Location and proximity to Tube stations (2 lines). Most of the staff were very helpful. Full services offered and this was not expected prior to arrival. Cleanliness of rooms and amenities available for use either at the hotel or nearby. We were upgraded to 1 br apartment although a studio was booked - this was most appreciated and added to our experience. The room was clean and spacious and most comfortable. I did not like all of the doors and steps between the reception and the room. It made luggage transportation very difficult. Even without luggage the trip took so long from front door to room. |

I thought the location to the underground circle line was good and the apartment was roomy and gave us the independence you dont get with a hotel. |

It is really amazing to be able to rent a ready made flat just for one day! I had the space and facilities of a well equiped apartment, but I was inside a 4* hotel with a bell boy and cooked breakfast and room service etc. |

its location ,near to underground station, restaurants and garden.Housekeeping and room facilities. I did booking for 3 adults while the studio was designed for only 2 adults. The third bed was a sofa which is not comfortable anyway. This is not fair to pay extra money for third person without extra facilities for him.Check out time is too early.Breakfast content was so poor. |

Quick check in; no checkout necessary; ground floor room; very quiet. Breakfast was prohibitively expensive at £10 when the room was already £160. |

The hotel is conveniently located on a quiet side street within a five minute walk to the Bayswater (circle and district lines) and seven minute walk to the Queensway (central line) Underground stations. Kensington Gardens is also a very short walk from the hotel and is across the street from the Queensway station. Clean hotel/apartment. Free wired internet is a great benefit. Hotel staff was attentive and cordial. Abundance of restaurants and shopping within a short (less than 5 minutes) walk from the hotel. The mattress on the beds were well worn out. There is no AC but the hotel does provide fans. The shower head was barely functional. |
