Bed length size was too short, sofa not comfortable
Plenty of hot water and good shower with good sized bathroom. Comfortable bed. Quite close to a tube station. M&S and other food outlets nearby
Sold as "executive apartment" but really a bedroom with small kitchenette and sofa bed. Be dreadful if 4 were sleeping in the one room. Did not match the photo linked to the apartment ad. Poor pillows. Dreadfully uncomfortable sofa bed. Scruffy corridors. Did not feel staff were interested.
Very close to Bayswater & Queensway tube stations. Very convenient with many restaurants and shops around. Staff very helpful & friendly. Arrived very early in the morning & were received warmly. Rooms spacious.
Must avoid basement rooms. Requested 2 rooms on the same floor but not arranged. Corridors narrow and strangely designed like a maze. Indications to rooms especially on the 3rd floor not clear enough. One of the lifts not working suddenly and I was nearly trapped!
Noise from people above and below
Good location and halal food
I think the quality of the bedding was poor
Everything. It felt like a 5 * star just for you! The staff were helpful with the numnerous housekeeping requests - do not disturb, more milk, more, tea bags, more sugar.
If I had to be picky I would say a long winding path through to the lift which took you to the room.
It was in a good location and had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. For the money, we were expecting a bit more but we had everything we needed.
We were told by reception we could have breakfast as it was 10:40 but when it came to it were turned away from the breakfast room. There was also glass in the bed under the covers on which I cut myself.
Base of bed broken causing noise distrbing partner. 1st complaint ignored. Replacing matress did not fix. Moved to another room after 3rd complaint. Faulty shower screen. Had to wedge cardboard under to stop water flooding floor. Nobody took initiative to rectify despite obvious fault.
Location of the apartment was good in a quiet part of Bayswater. Bed was comfortable too.
Utensils in the kitchen were very limited and the bedroom was very small as was the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was blocked when we arrived that suggested housekeeping/management doesn't check that everything is working before guests arrive.
The staff were helpful with luggage, printing of documents and cab calling, room cleaning. hotel was close to tube station(Bayswater) and central to locations i had to visit.
Rug in the reception area is looking tired.due for upgrade.
Location was good, plenty of restaurants and pubs within 5 minutes walk. Bayswater and Queensway tube stations also 5 minutes walk so quite easy getting about.
need a sat nav to find your room, it's a maze of corridors, fire doors and steps up and down, finding the lift to the 4th floor was a joke in itself. Wouldn't recommend if you're a smoker unless you're guaranteed a room on ground floor near reception.
Tv not working, only fixed after asking twice No plug in kitchen sink
Firstly, I never stay in apartments in London... Always hotels. This time when I had to spend the night in London I needed to be in the Nottinghill region so after a few days of looking and reviewing etc, Grand Plaza looked like it was going to be quite good for the moment and considering the discount I was getting I thought if people normally pay 400 a night then this is a bargain! I arrived and immediately I was dissappointment; a solo female traveller. Reception could hardly speak English. I thought, relax maybe this will be okay. The walk to my aparentment was so depressing, walls easy, carpet was awful, things left near lifts and the dissappointment I'm sure still all over my face. I felt quite usafe too. The apartment was awful. Layout was strange too and the actual bedroom was tiny and separated from the rest of the apartment?! From start to finish I hated staying here and I will never stay in another apartment again!
Quite spacious apartment, clean, helpful Staff, very nice location, also close to tube
a bit of the mess at the reception/booking - they did not have my reservation but fortunately there was room available anyway
once in the room it was very nice
I was woken up loads on times by cleaning staff talking and banging trollies. also the washing machines going off in the morning. The rooms location was very bad
Location - easy proximity to two underground stations. Kitchen area small but perfectly adequate for breakfasts and snacks, microwaving etc. Main bed was very comfortable. WiFi was free and very fast.
Whilst clean, some fittings and furnishings look tired and worn. Carpet was grubby. Pull-out sofa bed was not made up when we arrived, despite our booking clearly showing 3 people - we had to ask to have it made up. Also there were not enough towels for 3 and we had to ask for more.
We were upgraded to a family apartment upon arrival and able to check in early - reception staff were great on check in. The apartment was a good size and there was plenty of room for three adult friends.
The continental breakfast; the room was crowded and although the food was plentiful I've had better. There are lots of places to eat on a neighbouring road. On check out it was useful that I had proof I had paid for breakfast in advance otherwise I might have been billed again.
Location was ideal as a base for exploring London with access to bus and tube/train service.
I advised desk upon leaving after a seven day stay that our first night's accommodations were very challenging. I was hoping a proactive measure on the part of the hotel would have been forthcoming to make an adjustment, an accommodation. This did not happen. As disabled seniors our first night was extremely challenging and unsettling. Fortunately the staff the next day made a change and were very service-oriented and understanding of our circumstances, unlike staff in the previous evening. We paid too much for our stay to warrant some accommodation not being made.
Kitchen diner was spacious and well equiped with a large sofa, bed and double bed .
bedroom was cold and bathroom a little tired .good location near to hyde park .
- Own separate kitchen area - Rooms decent size for London
-Bed sheets not changed once in 5 night stay -Large groups of tourists congregate in reception area - No extra facilities other than room
Spacious rooms Kitchen in room Convenient Location
Little bit run down, specially bathrooms Thin walls you can hear ppl moving in corridor
Staff excellent,, very helpful. With a runnung lift!!!!! Very important feature.
Awful bed, woke each hour with backache. Need new mattresses. Seating also terribly worn, and uncomfortable.
The breakfast service was a shambles. There were not enough tables, no one to greet you and the selection avaiable was poor. We ordered scrambled eggs which were cold and soggy and there was a 40 minute wait to get any crossants. There were stains on the bedsheets and the bathroom was not cleaned sufficiently.
