A friendly and helpful staff and very good facilities
Over priced breakfast
Cleanliness. Everything was there that we needed. Nice biscuits. We had a cheapest deal so wasn't expecting a palace. Lovely old London Hotel with real character. Very friendly staff. We didn't eat there at all, not because of the hotel. It was quiet.
Shower room was really very small. Wide bottoms wouldn't get on the loo. Normal bottoms barely missed touching the wall and the shower. Broad shoulders could hardly get in shower, difficult time. Smallest washbasin, suit cloakroom. No phone signal unless pressed up against window.
fairly handy location. Beautiful old frontage and reception
poor welcome very cold reception area very small and basic room that was described as a deluxe single more like a basic room breakfast was not included which made it a very expensive option
The hotels surroundings and atmosphere was perfect, excellent location and staff friendly and courteous, exceeded my expectations and will definately be returning it is a surperb hotel.
Cannot fault anything
Wine & choclates
Noisy drain outside in rd constantly clonking every time cars drove over it , kept us awake most of the night
A very nice hotel within two minutes. Of tube station Lancaster Gate is nearest not Bayswater. Have stayed twice and would stay again.
Location of hotel
location, kindness of the staff, very beautiful hall, general comfort and the special price offer
VERY bad WIFI connection too small room
I wanted to store luggage for one night. The hotel ultimately agreed but they made it so uncomfortable to accept that I found other arrangements.
The room are very very small you can not even move easly
Nice and clean, friendly hotel
The rooms were a bit small. Our twin room had the beds pushed together so you could just about get around the outside of the beds. It was fine for sleeping, although we were two fellas - but you would not want to spend much time in the room.
Lovely hotel great location and the staff were vary helpful the old-fashioned feel of the reception was a complete contrast to the bedrooms really lovely stay I will be back
The location is good just a few mins from the tube, with hyde park just across the road. Hotel reception area with its wood carvings and interior are wonderful.
rooms are the smallest I have stayed in and no space to put the suitcase. Rooms are very expensive for floor area.
We liked the location, as it easy to access any where in London. The tube station was just around the corner, and the bus service was also excellent. We have stayed at this hotel once before, and will certainly stay there again.
There was nothing that we could say we did not like.
Room comfort Bed
Small but perfectly formed room. Spotless and the fruit bowl was a lovely touch
The staff!! Very helpful and nice! The decoration of the common areas.
The small size of the room (was in a Club room)
Friendly and helpful staff Free WiFi Close to tube station Excellent breakfast Very clean and tidy Public rooms as described Good value for money
Doors on 2nd floor banging all night Small room Ensuite on lower level to bedroom
No thing poor loopy poor interance poor caredoor
Not much. Close to the tube station.
The bed was far to small. I am 6"1 and my feet hung a fair distance out of the bed. The WiFi worked intermittently, i had to bend down in the shower or my head would be through the ceiling. The rooms were cold and very uncomfortable and SMALL. I booked a superior double. It was not superior, I would have been better and less back pain in a Travel lodge.
I just like the location :(
First I have send email asking about the car park no respond and then when I get there I ask the staff in the reception and the answer was they don't know. Lot of noise all night tell the morning cos they give me room 119 next to the staff room. And then about 9 morning the bell ring when I open the door I found this staff stood there she said sorry and then she walk away. This is the worse hotel been to.
The location was great and close to tube station, staff was very helpful and accomodating.
Room was very small, bar had run out of draught beer.
Location is excellent, close to the subway stations, Hyde park and dozens of good restaurants, pub's. The style of the building is phenomenal, very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Rooms, especially bathrooms are very small, which is locally standard in London, however it is small. WiFi is very slow, when it works..
