Proprete, design tres english,..

We enjoyed it. There was one short amount of drilling noise somewhere but that stopped shortly after we arrived. The bed was very comfortable, all clean, shower good. There were always staff around to help. The room was small but perfectly formed with TV and radio in one, loads of channels. All good. |

Hotel was just reopened after a major refurbishment so everything was new & clean. Very comfortable bed, Grohe bathroom fixtures - good bathroom space, brand new LCD TV. Had tea/coffee making facilities in room which was good cos I could have a quick breakfast with scones from supermarket nearby. I'd highly recommend this hotel for location (3 mins walk to both Queensway & Bayswater, or 2 mins walk to bus stop to Oxford Street which is about 5 stops away), service & quality of room. Deluxe Double room was small & didn't have a proper space for luggage. |

Soft pillows. Hotel staff dont know the hotel themself. Our room was in the first floor,we were directed to use the lift but lift didnt got 1st floor we had to come back and reseption staff even didnt know about this after that we directed to stairs which are already covered with plastic ongoing refurbisment. Our room was very small instead of having tabel and chair and useless tea table we would like bigger bathroom we can move better, good job we were not large people. when we arrive to the room I touch the bed tables they were also dusty you can feel and see by using your finger. I think the name of the hotel is just a catch, I would never stay this hotel again. |

Brilliant setting! Beautiful and romantic. Very easy to get around in London from here too. Going to be interesting to see how this smal palace developes along with the restaurations.Am hoping to come back for more adventures in a couple of months;) |

The interior of lobby was alright, and the room was warm enough. We planned to share a double room, but as they had no no twins left they changed it for two singles without any extra fee, which was nice. Breakfast should be quicker and more proffesionally done. The rooms require at least basic furniture - mine had no wardrobe. Water pressure is terrible. |

The location was good. The room was clean and the facilities comfortable. The hotel was newly remodeled. The remodel was not complete and many things did not work. The room was small with no closet space of any kind. Breakfast was very expensive. |

location to londons sites of interest, beautiful reception area and nice clean room noise from building work being carried out in hotel til around 7pm. room was sold as a double but although very nicely furnished was extremely cramped in my opinion should only have been a single room. one night was bearable any longer and i would have requested a bigger room. |

location only we knew that the hotel had just opened but never expected so many issues to happen with us. We requested for an extra duvet, they gave us towels instead. Upon insistence, they gave us a very dirty duvet, which we had to use unfortunately. Twice the fire alarm started buzzing, that too in the night. Safe in the room was already locked when we arrived. We asked them to open it but they said they can't for some reason. So we had to keep some our passports at reception safe which wasn't a really comfortable feeling. Also, we could'nt make any local city calls using the room phone as there was some issue with it which couldnt be resolved till the time we were there. Hopefully, with time, these issues will be ironed out. |

The quality of the building and the refit (recently completed) was good. The quality of the fittings and furnishings was also good The taxi driver (and his friends) couldn't find it - has it been renamed recently? The room was too small for the double bed so getting from one side to the other was a squeeze. There was no remote control for the tv. |

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very poor - no power at all. This is such a shame because the bathroom looked so nice but was seriously let down by such a poor shower. |

The room was advertised as a deluxe double. There was nothing deluxe about it. It was so small you couldn't even walk round the bed & if one person was getting dressed the other had to wait in the bathroom or sit on the bed. They also advertised as having a bar but that had not been built yet and neither had they got their alcohol licence. The builders were still carrying out renovations and we were woken at 7.30 am by drill and hammering. The whole experience was extremely disappointing as this was my husbands 60th birthday treat. |

This is a beautiful characteristic hotel; the room is, though indeed small, very comfortable, clean and neat. The site of the hotel is just fantastic; there are a lot of stores just one minute walk away (supermarket, bank, restaurants etc.) and both Bayswater and Queensway station are just 2 and 5 minutes to walk! The hotel is also situated 100 meters from Hyde Park, so it's easy to take a walk there. Further, the lobby and the reception where beautifull, both Victorian style. The hotel staff where, altough some couldn't speak English very well, really helpsome; I was even allowed to print something from their computers. When we stayed there, the hotel had only opened for 2 weeks, so there where some problems that hadn't been discovered or fixed yet; we had a shower with warm, not hot water and our window couldn't open yet. |

We stayed in a clean double room, with a LCD screen, toilets and bathroom...The rooms have just been refurbished. The room was clean each day, and the little set for breakfast or tea time was really useful. We could here some very small noise from the people upstairs when they were walking at night (wooded noisy floors) |
