Lobby, location, quietness
wifi, slightly musty basement
Nice set up Friendly Staff Clean rooms Good service Free news papers Great Location
All foreign staff, therefore not an English feeling! The fire alarm went off at 2am
Excellent courteous staff, especially the ladies at the front desk ..... Beautiful lobby Nice breakfast
Smallest bathroom I've ever seen Small room size Poor internet connection & slower than a tortoise
Good location, clean and comfortable.
Noise as were in basement room from outside and above
The rooms are nicely decorated and more than adequate for the odd night . They are definitely compact.
The fire alarm went off at 6am which was a bit annoying. I have a bad leg and the bathroom was far too small for me to get in and out of the bath/ shower.
Staff Excellent customer service
Girl on reception. Birthday chocs & wine.
No window. Leak in bathroom. Very small room. Did not listen to guest requests.
staff and location
the rooms so small
Location, cleanlingness, modern room, wi fi
- Hotel is located behind Hyde Park and is nearby Bayswater and Queenstown station (5 mins walk away). - Room/bathroom is clean and new
Room/bathroom are small but nevertheless it is still a great place to stay as it is clean and new.
Location, near shops, restaurants And Hyde Park Good free WIFI
Rooms are too small Suggest only suitable for single occupancy otherwise you need traffic lights to allow people to move in the room with lots of reversing
Great location, pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast
Location, staff, room.
The word 'deluxe' means luxurious and above average. My room was certainly not deluxe; it was not even a room - but a cupboard. I felt claustrophobic in the bed and have bruises on my legs from trying to get around the tiny bits of 'furniture' which were crammed in there.
THE SIZE OF THE ROOMS AND ITS VALUE FOR THE MONY
Hi, We stayed at Grand Royale Hyde Park for a week. We were made to feel comfortable from the first day. Everyone smiles and greets you. All your requests are addressed in minutes, despite the peak travel time. Anca who was one of the staff was amazing, so were Adrian and Marien. Location is great. So close to the underground, and amazing choice of restaurants in the lane behind the hotel. Ideal place to stay if Central London is where you want to be.
Nothing. Rooms are small all around central london. Everything else makes up for this.
Location is great. Two underground stations are really close which gives u access to 3 different lines (central, circle&district) with little walking distance. A bus stop is near as well. The street besides it has money exchange, grocery shops, restaurants, whiteleys... Kensington gardens is right next to the hotel. There was free wifi (not the fastest but it does the job) but you have to login everytime you use it which is a bit tiring.. Staff was nice and understanding. (Especially Anifa)
Rooms are unbelievably cramped and bathrooms as well. Double beds are small. Corridors are very narrow. The floors in the superior and deluxe rooms make an extremely obnoxious squeaking noise everytime you take a step (had a hard time sleeping because of that) -club rooms floor is fine. No concierge. (But reception will help with directions).
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great location, tucked away, beautiful foyer. Clean.
The rooms were a bit small - but everything we needed was there and fully functioning.
standard sized room for the area, but next time i will stay in canary wharf at least I can have a 4 times larger room.
Bathroom was small. Not enough room between the toilet & basin. Separate toilet would be better.
Parts of hotel obviously quite old and attractive. Fairly easy to find.
Work is being carried out at this hotel. At present it is a bit of an untidy affair. To get to my room I negotiated scaffolding. The room seemed out of character to the rest of the hotel. The exterior doors were cheap modern whitewashed. Would reserve final opinion if and when returning when finished. certainly not 4 star at present.
Excellent and helpful front desk staff and the bell boys
No Lift and having to trudge upto the 1st Floor
Very friendly staff welcome me with lots of explanation with the deafgard including the interpreter/staff! Thank you
Nothing to dislike
Very clean and comfortable room. Polite and considerate staff. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient for walks in Hyde Park. Only 18 minutes walk from Paddington rail station.
