Location was great. Lots of places to eat/drink round the corner. Friendly staff. Charector in the lobby and bar.
Small room, tiny bathroom, tired linen and stained."Superior" room...? Dont think so. No view from room.
Lobby and public rooms are very beautiful
Rooms are very small and toilet wasn't clean
The rooms are too small.
Hotel was well positioned for Hyde park. Queensway Tube 100yds away but the better Bayswater ony 200 yds. lovely historical public rooms. Built as a meeting palce for Edward v11 to meet mistress Lily langtry. Good price for rooms, although bar pricey. Staff were excellent.
Slightly small rooms, pricey bar
The Duvet. The bed was a single bed and had a small single duvet which slipped when turning in the bed..
the breakfast proximity with hyde Park
my bedroom number 415 was very small :a student room is more spacious
great location helpful staff great water
Close to tube and the park, a nice walk into Oxford street etc.
Room was small and not somewhere you could chill out after a long flight.
Room was small but very clean. Tea maker with some good choices of tea, cookies etc Barhroom was great didn't expect that Breakfast was pretty good Front desk was very helpful and polite
Cleanliness and bathroom.
Small duvet for size of bed, small room and no chair. Subtitles were constantly on television, unable to remove. reported to staff, but nothing dobne
hospitable and friendly environment.
lack of restaurant.
the staff are very cooperative and supportive
room size is too small. Hard to move in it. no space for writing or using laptop no space for luggage bags. no refrigerator in the room space is very tied to pray. cannot provide support in identifying direction of pray.
Price for a single room too high. Staff on reception weren't very helpful. They were really slow to respond to a communuication that had been sent to them 7 hours earlier which meant there were issues when I tried to check in and they were not flexible at all given they had messed up. No apology. I checked out 2 days early and went and found somewhere else to stay. In the lift you have the option to go to the "Restaurant" floor. Booking.com even says there is a restaurant which is why I booked to stay here. HOWEVER there is no restaurant serving dinner. Only breakfast. All in all, I'd never stay here again. Basic customer service was terrible.
Bedrooms were much too small in regard to the price per night.
Enjoyed the venue and size of the suite... Staff very friendly, breakfast good. Bathroom phenomenal! Langtry suite and 4 poster bed very nice,..
Nothing really to comment on, some areas a bit tired, but that is being picky!
Reception and bar area is beautiful.
The room we got was not as we booked and was very small, no way worth the money charged and premier inn at half the price is twice the hotel.
The staff was kind and helpful.
The rooms of the hotel were extremely small, even the superior room we had booked.
The area that the hotel is in is great close to two tube stations. A lot of restaurants are close by and a great choice of different cuisines to wet your appertite. The staff are mire willing to help with almost anything you need
Nice quiet hotel even though it was busy, good facilities, clean
Room was small, considering it was a deluxe room, wouldn't have wanted a standard, yet to see a menu for the dining room, nothing to say there was any entertainment in the hotel, but we saw a small poster for a magician when the event was almost over. Room was rather hot, had to keep the air conditioning on all night
Easy to get to from Paddington Station, which is practical when you arrive late in the evening
While the price is definitely in the four-star range for London, the comfort it offers lies well down into the three-star one. Cramped room, abysmal sound insulation (you hear every conversation on the street or every light switch being thrown in the neighbouring room), the wash basin didn't drain properly, breakfast starts only at 7am, which is late if you're in town on business... Enough said.
Good location - easy to get to places of interest and for a stroll through Hyde Park. Room and bathroom were very clean.
We were upgraded to a Club room but it was still very small and although there were windows they were covered by fixed blinds - probably because of the unattractive view. Felt closed in and we had no idea of the weather until we were dressed and downstairs at the front door.
Beautiful building location was great close to public transport, lots of tourist shops and restaurants just around the corner, loved being so close to the parks.
Lovely hotel lobby area Accessible for tube Nice location Friendly staff
Tiny and very dark room Not the comfiest of beds Only tepid water in bath/shower
Loved the hotel close to Hyde Park, Oxford St for shopping, good transport close to the underground & bus. I have stayed twice under 2 months. I will come back.
The location was easy walking to tube, restaurants & Starbucks!
Bathroom was very small. As ease the area around the bed (we are not"big" people).
