The locality to the event The extremely poor breakfast service. The lady serving did not have a clue. The hotel looks a bit tired needs upgrading in some areas i.e. air conditioning.

Rooms were very spacious & comfortable Would have been nice to have had more tea & coffee facilities in the room as only minimum given. Would be nice to see water & biscuits included. Also had to leave before 8 on the Sun so missed breakfast, could there not be a take out option?

Staff all friendly and accomodating. Room nice and comfortable. Having to ask for the little things that you would normally expect to be there.

The young man who seemed to do everything - reception, bar, restaurant, and still managed to be civil and interested. Tasty breakfast! lack of double glazing to eliminate the noise

For an overnight business stay this hotel was ideal. Could not believe how cheap it was especially given the high standards of the facilities. Would stay again.

The close proximity to the race course. Unclean bedrooms, stains on bedding and floor, electricity loss to room 3 times in 1 night, dated hotel in need of a total refurb, not worth £100 per night.

The interior pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and quiet especially the location on a busy road. The breakfast room was most adequate and pleasant, and the staff were very helpful. The car park is not the best, and in the morning I had to back out.

Good location for Doncaster Race Course. Evening meal was excellent at a reasonable price and the breakfast was also very good. We were booked in at 10.30 am to allow us to get to the racecourse early, great service, thank you. Due to how close to the racecourse the hotel is availability of the bar was limited early in the evening. The staff were very helpful in allowing us to use the dining room earlier than booked though which sorted out the problem.
