Room, Entertainment and Breakfast.
The disgusting smell in our room.
Location and view
Not enough room in the car park
Easy check-in, car parking good. On the ninth floor had a veranda with a view, relaxing time.
Great atmosphere, really nice dinner, entertainment, sea view
Breakfast, broken showers in every room I have stayed in, not very clean.
I asked for a quiet room people next room banging doors really loudly all through night i didn't sleep at all.
Constant inconsiderate noise from other guests and the inefficiency of staff to deal with it.
We found the Burstin Hotel Folkestone value for money and all the staff we saw could not have been better. The staff were all helpful and polite. The breakfast and dinner were plentiful and of reasonable quality.
the entrance had the smell of urine, my pillow had a stain on it, there was mould on the window, the light in the bathroom did not work (only shaving light), the heating didnt work either.
location, our room was ok, food
very noicy, not kind to handicappet people, too little parking
Entertainment, fantastic vocalist.
Dirty ancient rooms, poor food, generally in need of a make over. A formerly majestic hotel suffering with a terminal illness and in need of a miracle cure.
Linnen rolleys in corridors all day long.
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, the last time being 5 years ago.
No change to decor in the last 5 years it's looking shabby needs re decorating in rooms. Baby crying all night next door. Lots of ethnic families wanting there own dining room due to food being served. Being rude to us in general during our stay.
location bingo and the staff were very good
the breakfast, the room got a premier room which felt like a basic room, rooms need modernisation.
Stuck in a time warp. Lack of facilities after 6pm (e.g. Pool tables, fitness centre & swimming pool).
Breakfast Beer Cheap room
The one man band ruins the night in the bar, time to leave the bar, rapidly.
It was Dog friendly
Out of date, grubby decor and furniture, big and ugly building
en-suite very well equipped , tea coffee facilities .Staff friendly and accommodating .very large dining room , probably several hundred seats which tend to get a bit full as the clientele seem to be day trippers going on excursions and foreign workers going to work.parking is a bit tight with the number of guests outweighing the available space, there is however lots of public parking which is free overnight.if you get a front room there are good views over the old harbour.as far as value for money goes you won't beat it in this part of the country, the breakfast alone fully cooked buffet plus all usual juices and cereals is almost worth the cost !
Staff we're lovely and polite smiley and friendly - very approachable
Broken bath Over cooked food at both dinner and breakfast buffet
Nice sized rooms, lovely view of the Harbour!
Parking can be a problem if you arrive after 11pm.......Not enough staff at times to cope with guests for breakfast!!
We did like the space of the room and it was clean. The price was good and it included breakfast so cant complain. Easy to get to and staff were polite.
The noise coming from the night club across the road which was a pain went on till 4 in the morning, parking wasn't great.
Entertainment was good also staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable
The buffet style meals and good choice of dishes. The variety of facilities available Value for money Bar and restaurant. Location Harbour view Staff helpfull Comfortable bed
We asked for a non smoking room and were placed in a smoking designated room. We asked for a room close to lifts and were located at the furthest point from the lifts. Both of these requests were made for health reasons and seemed to have been ignored.
No batteries in TV remote and toilet needs bleaching
clean rooms, comfy bed, great value
needs a facelift, a bit shabby all round
