Very good hotel and location
Piano playing as we walked in, bar and bar staff excellent, Reception staff very helpfull all round very impressive
Having to leave !!!!!
The perfect hotel, I cannot praise it enough! From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The Grand is the only place to stay!! In the famous words of the Terminator.... I'll be back!
I haven't a bad word to say :)
Lovely sea views and beautiful deluxe king room. Great selection for breakfast with helpful and friendly staff.
External features could do with some TLC but to be expected in a building on the sea front.
the room, the breakfast, the staff, all very good and professional. would definitely stay here again.
only a minor fault: although we had a fan in our double sea-view room, it was very stuffy, as we were not able to open the windows. airconditioning would make it perfect.
Room was huge, bed very comfortable Plenty if space Decor beautiful
The bed/furniture was positioned so we couldn't see the TV in bed, and enjoy the sea view The bathroom was a standard size bath, disappointed no corner bath There was no fridge in the suite And only two caff coffee pods for the machine The bin wasn't lined The paper and luggage went to the wrong room The bill was confusing The door hooks did not fit the hooks to hold the doors open Lots if staff looking like they were standing around Other staff looking rushed off their feet!
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and a welcoming atmosphere. Lovely breakfast too. Couldn't fault.
The room was very hot to the point I didn't want to be in there, there was a fan in the cupboard which we had to clean all the dust off before use, didn't make much difference. No opening window in the room
It was a special occasion as me and my partner got engaged... We normally stay at the boutique hotels in Brighton. I thought we would try something GRAND!! it was amazing! Huge Room, sea views from a balcony.. Breakfast was incredible, serving everything to everyone's taste.. The hotel couldn't of gone enough for you.. Defiantly our new favourite place to stay in Brighton
staff and food
The standard of service. From the moment the doorman opens you taxi door when you arrive to when he opens your taxi door when you leave the quality of service never falters.
Everything staff was so helpful and friendly atmosphere was good
The location and style of the hotel and the fact there are leisure facilities
The meal in the restaurant was delicious and not over priced. Bed was very comfortable. Door staff in particular very friendly and helpful.
Obviously budget room didn't have a great view - but that was to be expected and didn't spoil our stay.
Staff were really friendly but still very professional. Totally awesome location.
No air conditioning in room, big queue for breakfast.
the friendly and efficient staff, king room and facilities first class after renovation, and excellent food in hotel restaurant. Even worth paying a bit extra for the valet parking. Can"t wait to return.
I like the historical places and the general area
ambiance my room was excellent great sea views
staff that were not welcoming, glass full of dogends on my balcony, complimentary water already opened and when complained didnt seem that bothered. No minibar.
Queuing for breakfast.
Great shower, with a bidet! Nice bed. Good sized TV. Hot chocolate sachets in the room, and one of those new coffee machines. Wonderful staff - you would expect that, but the concierge/stewards were friendly as well as efficient. Breakfast good. Loved the lobby! Not cheap to stay here. but you get what you pay for.
We were in a room with a window at the side of the hotel - the room was a bit warm, and if you opened the window, it was noisy from traffic and people. A fan was provided, so we used that overnight.
Location Valet parking Helpful staff Good breakfast Nice rooms
No air-con in room and it was very hot - window only opened slightly Shower curtain was stained
Nice, relaxed bar area, friendly bar staff, good cocktails, generous complimentary snacks, fair prices. Well maintained and spacious hotel, decent full english breakfast.
Beautiful hotel, well maintained, attentive polite staff, comfortable bed
No parking space available and expensive to park in local NCP car park.
Great location, great sea view room, very clean throughout, very helpfull staff especially Simon on the door, will stay again & would recommend!!!!
