The location sea view as well
I booked this hotel on the strength of the photos of the single rooms. The room I was given, however, was no better than a worn guest house room. I will not be returning.
cmfortable beds clean bathroom
small tv breakfast cheap food
Wallpaper peeling off walls Radiator did not work Bathroom floor and door frames filthy Noisy music from kitchen & dining room Children running about until 11pm Ceiling tiles loose leaving a gaping hole Smell of sewers downstairs Wi Fi did not work
Location and food excellent
Noise from trams. General decor in poor condition in restaurant area
Smoking allowed in the room we stayed in ..
No mattress on bed on arrival Staff not very welcoming on check in or very friendly
I heard bad reviews about this hotel..but in my opinion there is nothing wrong...its an old building
We thought the room was clean and good value as it was £20 off.The breakfast was good and there was plenty and well cooked. It was in a good location and handy for shops and trams. The hotel could do with some air freshener.
We thought the receptionists could be more cheerful and welcoming. We had to ask all the questions(where was breakfast being served, did we have to be in a certain time at night). We never got a smile of any off them.
The hotel is central and in a good location. Friendly staff. Budget Hotel. Good ensuite, loads of hot water.
The room was small, the ensuite was bigger than the room! the bed was hard and small (needed to be a king size). The hotel in general needs to be refurbished especially in the public areas. The restaurant ceiling looked like it was going to descend at anytime, the Hotel outer walls had cracks running down so large that birds could nest in them. The interiors had damp patches, wall paper peeling from the walls and loose plaster.Breakfast was of poor quality (dried up bacon and cold toast). I was charged for 3days parking but only stayed 2days (as per booking). Not enough complimetary tea and coffee in the room. The toilet seat was stained and decomposing and needed changing, (ensuite).General houskeeping was average to poor.
Breakfast was good
Room was dirty and not made up on arrival. Whole place was dirty. Grumpy staff Bathroom leaked from above
The meals in the dining room where excellent and staff very good.
There was no hot water on Friday night to shower.
Cleanliness of hotel & room in general. I didn't want to remove shoes to walk on the carpet in the room as it was heavily stained. Room needed airing. Breakfast was poor - toast like rubber as not freshly toasted but kept under a heat lamp, cooked breakfast v fatty & greasy.
Big que for breakfast. Bedding was ripped, window seals gone so room was freezing. No hot water on first night. Noise levels was really bad. No info on where anything was in hotel. Would not reccomend
The location of this place is perfect and the parking is great
Breakfast totally inedible, sausages totally cooked to death, bacon awful orange juice un- drinkable.
Misleading photographs for rooms for our stay. The bed was comfortable but the pillows definately not and the double bed was pushed up against a wall on one side due to the shape of the room. The hotel has definately seen better days and should no longer be described as Grand unless you take that purely for its size! An education is needed in service with some of the service staff and the hotel is very shabby and looks generally run down. We would not stay again or feel we could recommend it.
The bed was just a bit bigger then a single bed, me and the wife admit it's the worst hotel we have been in and will not be going back, ever
Excellent location, quiet rooms, wonderful Jacuzzi bath, large car park, helpful staff, good breakfast. Return visitor and would happily return again.
Did not like fighting my way through the collection of smokers which block the entrance to the hotel!
expensive bar prices
the room was very good the views were excellent
Thing looked clean, great location. Car Park, but i dont think you Should pay extra
Took about 30 min's to Check In just One Person In front, not a nice ladie. The breakfast Well It looked like Bacon scraps all Stück together, the toast was just Throwen In a dish, cold.
