Hotel was in good location.Pleasant Restaurant with sea view.Quality of food was good.
Could not recomend hotel as it is looking a bit shabby in places but you get what you pay for.
Where do i start just don't go there. You can get a lot better for the money else where. Had sea view room well if the glass in windows not misty I might have seen the sea. Tiles in the bathroom were falling off Breakfast and dinner .mcdonalds could have done better. Not the best. Staff just don't give a s**t. Please take this as good advise. Keep away never will be going back to this hotel again
Food was a bit bland
Good English Breakfast
Bedroom small and dingy Bed not even a double 3/4 bed TV didn't work Wallpaper peeling off the walls Bad decor Car park full non residents using it Staff not helpful
Service was good hotel clean .
Queuing up to get breakfast in a morning .
The location is excellent and so is the parking. We has four very different rooms and all were clean with very nice en suite bathrooms and very good baths. The main part of the hotel is very nice.
The rooms were great and clean but very tired. Old facilities such as old tvs and refreshment tray. The hotel had so many contrasts. Two of our rooms were upstairs and the hall ways were ok. Two rooms downstairs and the hall ways were horrible and the rooms very tired.
Location of hotel, excellent for walking. The hotel was comfortable, staff pleasant
Requested seaview and had corner room with predominately street view
Location and parking.
Waiters wore dirty uniforms. Food was cold.
Was on the lower level felt like we was in a hospital, boiler noise clicking on and off all night did not sleep. Was full of elderly people.
Breakfast was very nice buffet style but very hot and plentiful.
Didn't look as if bathroom had been cleaned well.
The location was excellent - handy for the train station the tram stops and the shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was a mixture of families, young couples and older people, but the mix worked well. The hotel has so much history and character.
Maybe it was because it was quite late in the season, but this "poor old lady" despite all her charm and character is in desperate need of some TLC!!
The sea view room
Having to wait till 3.00pm to get to the room causing congestion with every one wanting the lift at the same time, The room should be available as soon as it is ready
choice of food the location was good rooms had good space the tea and coffee in the bedroom are a good idea Kathleen Smith Renfrew Scotland
In real need of refurbishment as it was looking very tired and old
Comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, ideally located, most enjoyable.
not enough tea & coffee provided. unless you trailed all the way down to reception
The room was clean and in a good location , evening meal was nice.
Staff were rude and not happy to be there, you never got a smile, entertainment was also poor I mean who goes to bed at 10.20 when your on a holiday, well that's what we had to do once the 30 minute entertainment was finished. Very poor
Location was brilliant Cheap beer
Very tired looking Hot rooms
Location to a degree
Beds, decor, noise levels
Felt like a single room with a double bed stuck in it carpet and decor was very grubby aswas the bathroom, not worth the money, will not be retuning

Rooms where pretty basic, the average age was around 75 and the windows in the room look like they haven't been washed since the building was established
Requested a NON smoking room but upon arrival, the room smelt of nothing but smoke. TV was small, very old and poorly tuned Hairs found in bed upon arrival Breakfast in the morning was very overcrowded and difficult to find
