The Ibis Styles Blackpool is a splendid Grade II heritage-listed building. It has a great location, across from North Pier on the popular seafront. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Score from 679 reviews Very good
the location, staff, value,we would stay again and are actually booking a trip there next month and bringing other family members too
some areas where in need of referb it looked tied and need of some TLC which was such a shame as at its former glory must have been a wonderful place as it's name is Grand im sure in the past it really was !!!
inability to close high window so had to listen to constant car horns, drunken shouting, and when that died down around 4.0am roller shutters shutting on shop opposite - but hey that's the 'magic' of Blackpool
Newly decorated bedroom. New bathroom.
Food was below average. Bacon at breakfast was inedible. Entertainment program was abysmal. Only one artist and bingo, bingo, bingo. Bar prices too expensive at night no wonder it was always empty.
State of carpets in whole hotel, food basic. Hotel needs facelift and better prepared food, should be the best in Blackpool due to it's location.
Filthy dining room, chipped cups and plates
Staff and facilities
Location. Hisorical Aspect. Sea view room
The key card system didn't work when going back to our room. At 01.00 in the morning this wasn't appreciated.
brilliant location for town and night life has its own limited parking great value for money for short stay
windows could do with a clean
Very good location for attractions
Lower ground room felt like a dungeon.
Near the sea, and theatre good breakfast
No parking had to park in a carpark at a cost,
was not impressed with buffet breakfast
Great staff and position overlooking tower and north pier and sea.
Car parking difficult as people parking outside of spaces.
Very old run down neglected building
Room was below expectations: wallpaper peeling, damp patches on ceiling, big hole next to door and lock plus lots of marks on walls. Windows were smeared and greasy, chairs were not clean (stained). In need of a decent facelift. Breakfast in the mornig was like a cattle market, fend for yourself and no organisation around food hall anywhere. Had to ask staff to clear/clean table, breakfast buffet counter was chaotic with low quality food. Wouldn't recommend as the all round experience wasn't up to much. Would expect much better for the price paid. Thankfully it was only one night!
Service in general
Somewhere to put soap, flannel, shampoo in shower. Tea/Coffee pots that pour better. Background music in dinning room. Better use of space in bedroom.
The food The attitude of the reception staff. We were given a smoking room,we didn't realise that hotels still had this standard of room. Beware when booking to stipulate that you require no smoking if this is your preference.
Nothing it was the pits
Everything the food was awful rooms smelled bed had been slept in and not changed
Comfortable beds, spacoius room, great breakfast and ideal location, we,ll be back again soon!
Poor room location in basement. Strong smell of disinfectant around the hotel
the whole experience
Whats not to like ?
Lounge and dinning room and the breakfast
Almost everything. Room 319 was very small,(hardly room to get around the bed) windows filthy dirty, overlooking the main road, very very noisy until the early hours, window catch broken. In all a terrible room. Reception were not interested in doing anything. No hairdryer in room asked for one was told they would send it up, but never did, went to reception the next morning with wet hair, where they had them in a cupboard. A tired old hotel that ruined our trip
The outsode area needed a bit of tlc and a clean up in the afternoon
Location and car park is about all you can say for this tired hotel that needs a lot of TLC (and no doubt money) lavished upon it. The reception staff are trying hard.
Everything else. The window was cracked, the room carpet stained, the shower with evidence of mould. Tea at breakfast was stewed to the point of not being drinkable, and the cooked breakfast was poor quality. Booked for 2 nights, only stayed one.
Good buffet breakfast
Shower room mirror, had a greasy type of finish that wouldn't clean off this made it very difficult to see when shaving
