Good Food Large Hotel Facilities Location Entertainment
Poor Dining area for breakfast. Not clean or, enough staff on duty for breakfast
Upgraded to premier for £7.50 each for dinner and breakfast we'll worth it food excellent hotel dated but clean staff friendly entertainment good
Bedroom good but bathroom was very cold no heater in there clean but dated could do with decorating windows filthy with all those fantastic views they need to be cleaned
Self service dining lots of choice.plenty of food and drink.
Creaky floorboards from above woke us up at 6 am. To be expected I suppose in such an old hotel.
Didn't get the room I booked. No clean towels after first night. Only one bar person on the bar, nearly queueing out the door waiting for a drink
Nothing at all
breakfast was very good good bar and service
did not like a room without a window but it was only one night also only one of each towel for the two of us could do with another lift for the minus 123
Nothing rooms were dirty draws boke towel rail hanging of wall
Excellent, Friendly staff at reception, breakfast and in generally throughout the Hotel. Excellent Breakfast. Good Wi-Fi in main reception hall.
Sub quality bed, £50 mattress at the most, staff in the Coffee room and Bar very slow. Our room on the lower level was small but modern, clean and acceptable for the price we paid, except poor bed quality. No Wi-Fi in rooms is a problem. No phone reception on lower floors Parking is a problem.
The entertainment was great.
Reception should be bigger, long wait to be served.
That it was cheap and u got what u wonted. It was clean and the staf was friendly
Heating went off and the room went cold
A really good hotel, very comfortable room with a 360 super view. Right on the sea front. A short walk from the rail station and town centre.Pleasant and helpful staff. Very good entertainment.
terrible for parking
Location After complained a far better room was given promptly.
Was given a room in a smoking area, basic bath with no shower. Room very dingy and smelt of cigarette smoke.
Rooms good, price excellent, parking not so good
Not enough parking,got a ticket
Central for most attractions. The big breakfast and the facilities.
Breakfast was good. Foyer area with bar and entertainment was nice and friendly. Very central location and good discount on parking.
Stained sheets on bed.room next to lift which was noisy every time it was used. Terrible view. Evening meal buffet style did not look nice so we ate out both nights. Room too hot so we turned radiators off but could not open a window. Bed was made but room not cleaned and maid left dirty cloths in room. Hotel looks run down. Food going up and down with chef in tiny guest lift.
the breakfasts weren't too bad but spoiled by the que into the restruant and the self service
we changed rooms three times in two days because of terrific noise till passed midnight, second room strong chemical smell due to fumigation against the norovirus the last room we had was previously unused with no heating on and the beds were very chilled. the staff were dismissive and rude and I have complained to Britannia hotels
We upgraded our room to a sea view for little extra and it was lovely.
The help yourself to tea and coffee in the morning was very poor, the jugs were always empty and when you did get your beverage it was cold. Surely they can serve beverages to each table like every hotel we've been in.
Nice part of the country.
Paid extra for a "room with a view" and got a view of a wall about a metre from the window. The bed was crammed into the room so you could only get out of it on one side. Breakfast was appalling.
The room had damp above the door the wallpaper peeling away an old fashioned TV and no room service
Great value for money
Asked for a Ground Floor room, was given 4th floor. dining room floor at breakfast has not been cleaned.
The staff was very approchable
The bed wasn't supportive!
room with a sea view
cold and noisly and breakfast time very late start 7.30.
