Great central location
Carpet absolutely filthy Bathroom not cleaned very well (tiles over bath heavily stained, hairs not removed from bath, toilet waste not cleaned from rim
Have used hotel quite a few times and it is perfect for our needs
We found the staff to be very friendly, we felt welcome and comfortable. Staff were also very helpful and accommodating. We found the room to be clean and well presented. We have booked to come back for new year.
Staffs blasé attitude to the door knob coming off as soon as we got there. Not warning us about the showers taking 15 minutes to heat up, the poor water pressure. Poor quality of breakfast food. Grime around the bath avd sink plug holes. Dim lighting. I wouldn't pay more than £20 a person for a stay here, feel ripped off at the £64 stay!
Staff very friendly, the hotel was very clean beds very comfy. Good cooked breakfast, buffet style. Train station opposite with regular services to Brighton. Hotel excellent value for money would definitely stay again.
Great Little hotel in worthibg fantastic distance from town and the station is opposite, arrived very late but not a problem checking in
That I didn't stay longer
The room was very clean, airy and spacious. Good breakfast.
Excessive noise from bar area downstairs - music until early hours, doors slamming, noisy patrons. Patrons from bar area outside standing outside hotel front door talking loudly until early hours of morning, and smoking. Litter outside front door of hotel, left by patrons of bar. Very uncomfortable bed. No visible staff.
Very convenient location Pleasant check-in staff Pleasant decor
Breakfast service - everything running out (clean cutlery, bowls, coffee). No evidence of training in staff in how to run things. Saddest scrambled eggs I've ever seen, clearly just cooked at start of the shift. Request for more coffee resulted in just more water through the same filter (this doesn't work) Clearly the management are working hard to improve decor, but open windows to remove paint smell resulted in some rooms (we had three rooms) later on being either too hot and others not heated at all.
good choice for breakfast ,friendly staff !!
grubby décor in rooms !
The bedroom had been recently decorated and was very clean and smart. The towels were changed every day and there was plenty of coffee/tea and milk and quality biscuits provided. The breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Although the bed was firm and there were plenty of pillows, the bed could have done with a mattress topper as I could feel the springs and I ended up putting a pillow under my hips to sleep. It may have been just that bed as my daughter had no problems with hers.
not clean poor breakfast
Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Good breakfast.
Drab tired looking room, not particularly clean. There were lots of stains on the carpet. Although the sheets were clean the covers had holes in them. Not good value for money compared to other places that we have stayed. Needs updating.
Very convenient for getting around. Good friendly bar and staff, food was good, hot, quick, reasonably priced. Entertainment was ok.
Bed had metal fastenings under the top sheet.
Pleasant staff, Good breakfast
difficult parking, room needed refurbishment especially stained carpet which was old and creased up.
Location Cleanliness Value for money Good food Good beer Friendly staff
Staff great, service good
Room carpets etc need replacing
Very good value
Staff were very polite and helpful. Wifi was good and room comfortable with very nice shower. The hotel was situated less than half a mile from the bowls club which was only a ten minute walk.
Decor was a little tired and old fashioned.
Lively pub. Town centre. Views of South downs.
Thought no hot water at first! But ran through eventually and lots of it!
Size of room, four poster bed and free wifi
Shower was disgustingly dirty, carpets were a disgrace and cigerette butts left on window sills.
The room was relatively plain and simple which was good. Reasonably sized and very nice and warm. In walking distance of town centre. Ok for one night but wouldn't have stayed longer.
There was a condom on the floor outside the entrance of the hotel...not a nice start. When we arrived booking, com had not correctly relayed the information that it was for 2 adults and a child so they said they didn't think they had a room big enough but would try and move us around. The mirror had a crack straight through the middle which was dangerous for my 1 year old daughter. Quite a lot of noise from people hanging around by the station at night. Bed was hideously uncomfortable.
Every thing dirty carpts stained
Old furniture, smell of damp, falling wall paper, bugs and spiders on the room, TV not working, dust on the lampshade
friendly staff...nice atmosphere
