Nice, comfortable hotel opposite the station. Big rooms with plenty of character. It is a bit of a walk from the sea but this makes it quieter in the evening.

Really excellent value for money, very helpful staff, delicious breakfast and very comfortable room. Directly opposite Worthing Train Station. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Absence of a lift which didn't bother us but might in few years time!

My Dad and I stayed here while visiting the Goodwood Fesitival of Speed. The staff and owner were great - very friendly and helpful. It was handy having a bar downstairs and it was just a 10 minute walk into town or down to the seafront. The breakfast was good and our room was tidied and made up each day. Nothiing really. Good choice for a short break.

We were shopping in Worthing and visiting friends in the area and don't drive this far. Very convenient for trains and local buses. Good value for money - we don't need the "trimmings".

Hotel manager Joe gets an "A" rating for being absolutely first rate. He was helpful, friendly and cooked a great breakfast. We stayed there on business as it had convenience - located right at the Worthing train station, internet service and was affordable. The bar on main floor was lively and patrons very sociable. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. We've stayed at much grander places than the Grand Victorian but we would certainly go back again - for a really good time. Local telephone number and better directions- there is a Worthing and a West Worthing train station - who would know?

I paid a budget price for this room so I was expecting budget facilities and room but I have to say i had a really great stay. The staff were very pleasant and organised. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with a good supply of towels. I had 2 unwarranted concerns: train station next door (i didnt hear a single train) and 2) noise from the bar (sadly it was closed before we got back!!). We had a drink in the bar before we went out, Its clean, pleasant and very friendly despite its large size. Bed was very confortable so we had a good nights sleep, In the morning, I had a great shower with plenty of hot water for us both. Fabulous cooked breakfast. For me it gets 10/10 for service and value! Same for every hotel, never enough pillows (as they are too soft!)

I liked the fact staff were friendly and helpful. I messed up my booking ad the staff kidly moved us into a bigger room as id forgotten to include my lil un. The breakfast has improved and all nights we were there we were meeted by a staff member and given our be=reakfast which was filling. I def say its good value for money. Also we arrived early and the staff kindly provided us with a secure room to place our luggage into whilst our room was prepared. The room was clean comfy and we enoyed our stay. The main thing that comes to mind is bring ur own hair dryer as I found the hotel one wasnt powerful enough tho I have long thick hair lol.
