The location, the friendliness of staff, competitive price, breakfast. All in all nearly everything!!!
The fact that we were allocated a smoking room, as an upgrade, but did not spoil our stay.
The staff member at reception. I'd had an email to say we could check in at 2. She was adamant it was 3. When I showed her the email to prove the time she didnt apologise she just checked us in. The only flaw from our stay. Everything else was perfect.
Location, Location ,Location Facilities Food Room
Breakfast at £23.00 and £11.50 for children very expensive. More four star than five.
Peace and quite
Curtains would not close
Great staff and lovely room! We are return customers. Super spa! Great views!
Could you please add sachets of hot chocolate to the tea & coffee selection in the room.
The panorama windows overlooking the Tower Bridge and Tower of London are amazing - and indeed there are good views over towards the Shard etc. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and sofa's. Location suited us well with 2 tube stations within spitting distance but can also easily walk to Fenchurch or even Liverpool stations. Good small spa.
No complaints at all
good location bright airy room high standard of cleanliness good views
there was nothing we disliked
Good food Comfortable rooms
Noisy party in the hotel meant I had no sleep
Location, standard of the room with fantastic views of the Tower of London
Staff in the Spa were not very friendly. Rather abrupt. The rest of the staff in the hotel were lovely.
All very good plus Upgraded to executive room which was huge.
Location is good for business.Staff is polite. The room is clean.
location spa view hospitality
First room we were given was very dark, with view of trains and window frames outside. After speaking to reception we got a lovely room.
Perfect location Lovely room Friendly
When I booked this hotel, I asked for a room in the higher floors with a nice view and they gave me a very nice room, at the 11th floor, with a great view to the Tower Bridge! Awesome!
I didn't like that I had to pre-authorize a certain amount in my credit card to cover for possible broken things in the room.
From day one our stay was fantastic - we were upgraded as it was our honeymoon and enjoyed the stay very much the view from our room was excellant of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge
Was slightly offput with sharing the pool facilities with members of the spa as was difficult to have a leisurely swim with people trying to do their morning/evening workouts
I booked a executive double room at check in they told me I has booked. Superior room and they has upgraded me to a executive room whixh was not the case The room did not have a proper bed it was a pull down from the wall with a wooden surround that I kept knocking into and not a kingsize which is what I booked The room also had a patrician wall to the next room the whole length of the room whixh I did not feel secure in my room and I could also hear all the activity and conversation form the room next store I stayed there 2 weka ago and had a executive double which had a kingsize bed and a wall mirror and was a perfect stay This room has no mirror Ns a hairdryer in the bathroom whixh I am not happy to use it had disabled bathroom facilities and for an able bodied person this was uncomfortable I made my concerns to the duty manager and they offered to swap ro for me but at this point it was 12am I was in my nightclothes had an early flight the following day and was uncomfortable with the entire situation The room was located on the 1 at floor very close to rehab road so I had to keep the curtains closed so no other person could see in I found the experience quite disturbing
It was great to stay somewhere a bit different, especially because of tower of London and bridge being so close!
Would have been nice to have received a room with a view (or at least a bit of one), but I understand that this isn't always possible.
Pool, Bed was comfortable.
Having to go to reception 2-4 times a day cause my room key kelt not working, rooms were small unless you got a upgrade, room service food was horrible, no spare blanket in room, wifi signal really bad, executive club room never had what I was paying extra for, no cash machine in hotel which was annoying to pay for cabs, no supermarkets or off licence anywhere close to hotel, maids only cleaned room properly on my last night, old dated hotel not worth the money you pay to stay there plenty of better options in London.
We were upgraded to an executive suite upon arrival at no extra cost. The health facilities were good and the hotel is very close to the Tower Hill tube.
The swimming pool can become very busy and the maid removef our bath robes one day but other than that everything was excellent.
The perfect birthday gift to my girlfriend was totally destroyed by poor staff and poor decision making by managers when our air condition was not working, and we were moved to a room with separate beds, no compensation for a romantic weekend away !!!!! When we checked out and I did speak to the duty manager he refused to give us any reduction to our bill after explaining we were supposed to have complementary water in the room bearing in mind it was 30 degrees outside We had constant problems with our room cards We had a dirty cleaning rag left in our room on my clean shirt The staff had very poor english and clearly never worked in a 5 star hotel before. I have had better weekends in 3 star hotels I would go as far to say a Holliday inn would have put up a far better performance In closing i do not rate this hotel to anybody.
After staying in this hotel a number of times now, it is always a pleasure to come back and made to feel so welcome. Even the staff in the adjoining bar are so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect - it's just so nice allround
There is nothing to dislike!!
The location and facilities.
It was calm relaxing and very clean.the staff were obliging and friendly.
Wifi was excellent. Allowed multiple devices.
Quite a small double. Didn't know they came in that size.
No Wi-Fi in the room, window railway-view, space of the room.
