Nice hotel, friendly staff, good value for money (with the holiday weekend price discount) Only one restaurant was open. Had to walk through the lobby in my Spa robe and slippers. Went for spa get away and pool area had no chairs, jacuzzi was cold, no bottled water, no quiet/relaxation area.

Great location close to tube and in walking distance of restaurants and bars - only 15 minute walk across bridge into the south bank. Friendly staff- smooth check in and out Nice bar area (Isis) - attentive bar staff ideal place for meeting friends for cocktails. upon booking we asked for a view of the bridge if possible and were overwhelmed upon arrival with the room allocated the view was incredible of both the tower of London and the bridge. Really good value for money quality at sensible price - as someone who stays in London on weekend breaks couple times throughout the year and have tried everything from budget to apartments and luxury hotels - I will definitely be back ! Nothing

The location - so close t tubes and trains and an absolute must for tourists as very close to the Tower and local attractions The check in process. I waited for a long time only to reach the front of the q and be told that I could register as it was 2.50pm but could not check in till 3pm. I went for a walk, returned at 3.15 and q'd up again to check in. 20 mins later I was still waiting as my registration form had been lost and I had to sign a new one. Would it have been so difficult to have given me a key at 2.50 but tell me not to go to the room until 3pm....

Upgraded to an executive room on checking in. This was not requested or expected. Great piece of PR. Well done to the reception staff. Not enough staff on reception at the time of our check in.

Good comfortable hotel for a weekend theatre trip. Took ages to check in. Long queue and only 2 receptionists who kept answering the phone while dealing with customers. Bit rude really.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed and the smallest room I have been given. Although comfortable, of the 3 rooms I have stayed in this one I was the least keen about. I have booked two further stays 9th, 15 and 16th March, hope to be given one of the more spacious rooms next time. :-)

Food and pool was lovely and a relaxing hotel. On arrival the hotel took a holding deposit of £159 from my debit card. I asked if they had taken the £119 already to which they said no! I paid the hotel cash when I checked out as the purpose of the stay was to spend some time shopping while my 2 children were being looked after at home. When I went to my bank account I wasnt aware that I could not withdraw the money and they had taken the £119 plus the £159 which I then could not use. I rang them and they kept telling me they hadnt but my bank said they had!!! 6 Calls later over 2 days they then realised the admin team had taken it. So my relaxing stay turned into a stressful time and im still waiting on the £278 to go back in my account.

The location is exellent. The staff were not as friendly as expected, especially it is a five star hotel. The facilities are poor, I don't think can be labeled as five star hotel.

The fact that we were upgraded was lovely and we really appreciated this opportunity If I had to make any critisicm it would be the changing room floor in the spa area could be updated a little as it looked a little worn.

The style of the hotel is gorgeous - lovely art deco wall panelling and the shiniest bronze lifts I have ever seen! The view across to the Thames / Tower of London was breathtaking and the spa was very relaxing. We went as a couple and it was one of the most romantic hotels we have stayed in.
