Convenient location in quiet street. Boutique hotel feel not corporate. Rooms comfortable and nicely furnished
Staff on desk helpful but a bit rushed off their feet. Room was on the small side glad I was on my own
concierge was very helpful and informed. room was nice but noisy
the room had street noise which was very noisy would ask for a quiet room next time
Great value for money. When I complained about the room Staff were perfect and handled the situation really well taking me to see other rooms. +++
Put in a syndicate room at first with a pull down bed. I complained and was moved.
Good location, easy access for most attractions, tube station close by. Nice restaurants within easy walking distance.
Rooms too warm, but fan was provided on request which helped
Location Service Lobby
Room too small Can hear the tube in Room on the lower level
location, ideal, 5-7mins walk to oxford st. In a quiet area, close to several tube stations. good value for money for its location. I would definitely stay again.
room was tiny expected a small room but this was small with a capital S for small. However, would stay at hotel again. Did not book the breakfast, 24 pound each, need I say more!
A great central london position very near Regents Park and Baker street. A short taxi ride from Euston. Hotel has a very traditional and classy reception and lounge. Bedrooms very comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Will book again
Location Relatively cheap for a weekend stay, but mid week rates hard to justify.
Charge for wifi 10 pounds per day and signal not terribly strong! Bed was a fold down bed very low to the floor and a thin mattress. I have stayed there previously in a different room and the bed was ok then.
Good size room and bathroom very clean.
Our air conditioning was broken and room extremely warm.
Great location Nice staff
Internet at £10 per day or £5 per hour!!! Small rooms and bed without air conditionning.
Good location for underground stations and restaurants
Room was small, noisy and no air conditioning
Room was really small and the staff were unhelpful
The front office staff included breakfast as part of the total package.
No air conditioning.
Good location Quiet street Helpful staff
Very helpful staff at front desk would recommend for overnight "no frills" accommodation but at no more than the 95 pounds that I paid
Generally shabby paying for internet at a 24 hour rate that would buy me a months unlimited access. Television remote control stuck together with duct tape and not working properly Curtains that fell off their hooks when being drawn closed very low bed as it was a foldaway design No bedside table or lamps tea making cabinet lid locks at a crazy angle so kettle and cup are on a slope.
What a beautiful hotel - I was wowed the moment I arrived at the front steps of the hotel to see its grandeur to the very friendly helpful reception staff (especially the female team leader - blonde lady although I can't remember her name - surname Stkzyi . . . ?) - the room itself was beautiful, clean and spacious with great lighting and air con and I had the BEST night's sleep - an undisturbed and epic 10 hours slumber! The bed was so comfortable, the duvet was a perfect tog/weight as it was a very warm weekend, there was no noise, the shower was beautiful. The location of the hotel was perfect and all in all it was great value and a luxury feel! I felt like a VIP.
Good location for what we needed.
I thought it could have been better for the price. The mini-bar was not switched on when I arrived and despite asking for this to happen while I was out, nothing was cold when I returned later that night. The hotel and room ok, but was not very appealing. I would recommend for location only.
The classic paneling and dark wood
The fact that breakfast wasn't included in the price through booking.com. It wasn't clear and made the stay unexpectedly more costly.
Location, nice facilities. Expensive- but not for London. Great for a weekend stopover.
No free wifi. Expensive breakfast
Good location, older style hotel with a sense of yesteryear - in a good way. Staff were very obliging when assistance was requested
No wifi unless you pay a lot. Cafe across so the road has free wifi. Why does a hotel not just provide it?
Easy check in Free upgrade Very helpful reception staff
Price if breakfast
Lovely staff, great location. We were upgraded to an executive room which was large and very smart. Great price. Would definitely stay again
A bit hot, but have never stayed in a cool hotel room! They supplied a fan which worked well
Bed is extremly comfortable
TV in room didn't work . We did tell the receptionists .
