Grange Hotel  

Luxurious room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely view of the bay. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

The staff were very helpful and having a gym with a pool was a feature that we wanted.

The staff are exceptionally accomodating and courteous. We had three elderly family members in our party and their needs were superbly met. They ensured that each bedroom had easily accessibly shower facilities. During our stay the hotel staff enabled us to dine out of normal restuarant hours in a private room. The setting was luxurious and the ambience superb. We had a small hiccup in part of our order but the response of the hotel staff and management was first class. We have stayed in this hotel-and many others worldwide-and have never been disappointed. I cannot recommend it more highly and in particular because of the very high standard of staff care and attention.

Unfortunately we had a very poor main course which was not eaten. However this was dealt with very well by the waiter and chef so not a real issue.

Stunning room, beautifully furnished with great views over the bay. A cosy comfortable lounge with a roaring fire where we spent the evening reading the papers over a bottle of red and a delicious bar meal.

Small point but the silk artificial flowers are a bit OTT and some of the clutter in the public ateas could go- then it would look even more stylish and less dated.

Everything was perfect! The room was stunning, the lounges and bar area were clean, relaxing and inviting. The pool looked fantastic, the views were beautiful and the grounds were well kept!

Excellent decor, very clean and bright. Spacious rooms with nice views and comfy beds.

Everything! It is a traditional hotel in lots of ways but it was warm, comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It is a family run hotel and I think this shows in the personal attention you get. One particular waiter 'Sam' was extremely attentative and courteous. We arrived very tired and in much need of a break and it ticked the boxes. It is very well placed in Grange over Sands - very near the sea front and small shops and coffee shops. We would certainly go there again.

Great food and a lovely room - we got upgraded to a suite, which was a very nice surprise. The pool was lovely and warm. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to be helpful. I will defintely stay there again. Grange-Over-Sands is a lovely little town and there are so many lovely places nearby.

The room when entered was a little stuffy. could do with a little airing prior to guest arriving.

The hotel from arriving was so relaxing and posh, fabulose decor throughout and the staff were very proffesional and so polite, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a very good standard, perfect setting, rooms very comfortable, just lovely.

I honestly cannot say anything that I could not dislike about the hotel, I would love to be a guest again in the summer months because I see weddings and settings are offered in the reception area in many of the private rooms available, it would be interesting what it would be like with more clients staying at these times with regard to service. I'm sure it would be good?

The hotel is set in a lovely location with woodland behind and sea views at the front. Also very convenient for the Railway station and a short walk to the golf course and shops. The interior is immaculate with luxurious furnishings and carpets and very elegantly decorated. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent and always flexible. This was my first holiday weekend in Grange and I believe the Grange hotel made is so memorable for myself and my fiance

Just the resterant prices very expensive i think thos will put off a lot of people we normaly visit keswick country park hotel but they were fully booked and they have a lot more rooms the grange hotel was very quiet so cant fault the service and stay so it must be the food prices stopping people going.

The room was larger than I expected and the food was excellent.

The staff were at all times very professional, helpful and friendly. The general areas were beautifully appointed, spacious and well maintained. The spa was excellent and facilities plentiful. The breakfasts were first class offering a wide range of well cooked items freshly prepared and well presented.

The room we occupied left quite a lot to be desired and did not represent value for money. Although it was quite well appointed it was very small and the bathroom was tiny. The door could not be opened fully because of the bath, personal toiletries could not be set out and generally the task of performing ones ablutions was frustrating and annoying. The built in wardrobe was pathetically small and not even adequate for one person's belongings.The television was small, mounted high on the wall and of the poorest quality.One of the bedside lights was missing making it almost impossible to read in comfort. Lastly the mattress was broken and uncomfortable.At my side the springs clanked and complained at the slightest movement. Not an experience we would care to repeat.It was such a joy to return home for a good night's sleep.

I liked the location and the historical look of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable.

No counter space in the bathroom. The overall size of the bathroom was big but most of it was floor space. The shower could have been bigger. The television was very small.
