Very good staff Neat Place Good Breakfast
Bit far from the city center very small rooms
Comfy room with new shower, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. It's close to the Tube and to a small shopping area. Very good value. The room I was in (single en-suite) was very quiet. It does take a while to get to the city on the tube but that wasn't a problem for me. You wouldn't find anything as pleasant and comfortable as this closer to the city.
We usually spend the first night here when we land from California before travelling north to visit family. Its convenient for Heathrow
Homeliness, breakfasts, location, staff
Door locks on room awkward but thats all
Good location, comfortable room, ensuite, great breakfast, staff very welcoming and helpful.
Caulking in the shower needs replacing,
How relaxed it was
Code for front door
I loved the suburb where the hotel is located - Ealing (underground area 3). Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, warm, comfortable room. Very friendly cat on the premises. Good wireless in the rooms.
The shower is old and has a strange way of working.
parking. location. ealing
we asked for a double bed with a single but got three single
Cosy and calm on a back street with hardly any traffic. I see the house cat as something positive that put another level to the family feeling. Cool old lounge. The garden is probably nice the time of year when you want to hang out in the garden.
The house was reasonably near the Tube Station. Room and breakfast was OK.
Room and bathroom need attention - rather 'tired'.
Warm welcome. Good-sized room. Good-sized comfortable bed. Adequate heating. Plenty of storage. Quiet location. Good breakfast with fast and pleasant service. Comfortable lounge with good information for major tourist attractions. Easy free access to broadband. Simple room keys with no complex gadgetry adds to homely atmosphere. Furnishings and decoration not modern or trendy and all the better for it. Plenty of towels. We will happily use Grange Lodge Hotel again.
Slightly cramped toilet/shower room. Seemingly a slight damp problem as window wide open on arrival on a cold day though room reasonably warm and no dampness evident in morning except on the window frames and some mould in the bottom corner of the shower cubicle. Kettle only fillable by use of the single tooth-mug provided. Two high over-bright bed lights hanging from ceiling which disturb sleeping partner. Main room light a little dim. Television screen a little small to view from in bed and not well positioned to view from chairs. Would like to see much more local tourist information in the lounge.
Comfortable bed, cosy and clean room, good breakfast, very good location, nice price. I will stay again.
Old bathroom facilities.
House is in a nice neighborhood, 10m walk to the Ealing Broadway tube, with plenty of shopping and dining options. Staff was friendly and very helpful, esp. when I dropped my passport on the way out. They discovered it, made efforts to get in touch with me, and kept it safe until I was able to return for it. Cannot thank them enough!
Radiator was weak so room was cold, To be fair, supplemental electric space heaters were available in the room; I just wasn't informed about the situation and had to figure it out on my own. Otherwise, no complaints; esp. when considering the excellent way they dealt with my lost passport.
Clean spacious room, with well stocked tea/coffees, lovely and warm, nice view over the leafy garden and very quiet. Car park was well appreciated and location is just 5 mins walk from the tube station. Good choice at breakfast. Have used before and would definitely use again. Keep an eye out for Boots the cat!!
The shower head was stuck in an almost unusable position and on trying to adjust it came off the wall so the only way to use it was to hand hold it. Shame because the power and temperature was very good.
Very cold room The e- kettle disgusting unhealthy to be used
GOOD ALL ROUND HOTEL. EASY ACCESS FOR THE CENTRAL LINE AND LOCAL SHOPS, WOULD BOOK AGAIN
Very helpful staff. Bear in mind this is a budget hotel so do not expect luxuries. That said, the basic single I had was clean, very quiet and comfortable though could do with freshening up. Decent breakfast. Had to leave very early on last day but staff had remembered to leave out cereal, bread for toasting, milk and yoghurt in table top fridge, well done. Was a bit wary given low price but found it fully justified the good reviews. Would stay again.
Interior needs uplift as do bathrooms but you cannot expect top class decor and bargain price. This is a good, budget hotel well worth a try.
The staff provided a warm welcome. The hotel is 8 tube stops from Heathrow, (Ealing). Directions (which I wish that I had the first time) from the tube station are: take the bus at the right of the tube station exit, go three stops (stop M), and directly across the street is Grange Road, walk down the street about 2 minutes and it is on your right. It is walkable from the tube in slightly over ten minutes. The hotel is in a residential area, so very quiet. The building is showing its age (new plumbing fixtures and windows would freshen things up), but that did not interfere with it being an excellent spot for the money. Older homes come with creaky floors, but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was top rate, and the wifi good. The staff were accommodating, and they kept my luggage for two days while I headed out to another city. I canceled another booking to return here for my final day in London, as it was a convenient location for going downtown and to Heathrow.
Everything was fine.
A short, easy to walk to the tube and shops. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room and good bathroom - very small.
Everything about the hotel was good. We booked for the one night as we were going to Hammersmith Apollo to see Cat Stevens. The hotel's location is fine for shows at the Apollo. Just a short tube ride away. The staff were excellent. A lovely cooked breakfast. Rooms well equipped and comfortable beds. I would certainly recommend this hotel - and would stay there again.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
Great Value, Friendly Staff - willing to help. Will definitely go again.
Location and price. Just 10 mins from Ealing Broadway station. A few miles to Heathrow. Plenty of shops/bars/restaurants near by.
Being a converted house and quite old the floor boards can be noisy as some rooms have stud partitions so noise transfers. This was not a problem but depends who is next door.
Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Don't want to say too much as it was a low cost hotel so I never expected it to be like The Ritz. Needed early nights but it was noisy up till 10/11pm. No ones fault just the house carried alot of noise from people coming back to their rooms and windows not double glazed so alot of outside noise too. Traffic and planes.
