Staff is friendly, place is clean, shower is decent, breakfast is good, location is a bit far from Tube station, but the neighbourhood is quiet, and as a young female walking alone to the lodge after dark I felt reasonably safe. The furnishing is shabby, the beds have old-fashioned thin blankets instead of duvets (I was cold during the night), and although they very thoughtfully provided two pillows, a soft one and a firmer one, the mattress is not very comfortable and I could't sleep very well the two nights I stayed there.

Its not in Central London but just a short walk to train station to get into the city. Small room with little basin. Its enough because you are all day away. Its worth to stay there.

Everything was at least at the standard you could expect from this low cost B&B. And in some details Grange Lodge was providing even much higher service than the standard in many hotels in city centre. Extremely peaceful location in nice suburb. Short walking distance to Ealing South (piccadilly line to city or the very short ride to Heathrow) and Ealing Broadway (central line to city) Airplanes could be heard very loudly at evenings, but thankfully they stopped flying some time after eleven o'clock at night.

Very conveniently placed within easy walking distance of the tube station, and therefore great for visiting London. Surprisingly quiet at night too, as it's away from the main road. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome.

The location of grange lodge was perfect for my stay. The room I stayed in whilst clean was quite small and had very basic facilities. Also the quality of breakfast was superb but once I had breakfast it would have been nice if someone had come back to check I was ok or wanted anything else?

Close to the tube for a 20 minute trip into the city for a show and some retail therapy. Suited a purpose, a bed for the night.. That's where it ended sadly for us. We had the room next to the front door so had to listen to the comings and goings, well I did, while hubby slept through it. The furniture was very dated, the bedside table very wobbly. The bed had blankets under the sheet, obviously hiding a sin or two of some sort..as well as a blanket to cover, not very hygienic....The en suite shower had mould all up the wall, really didn't make you feel like spending any time in there.Overall the place needed decorating and updating. Like I said, it was a bed for the night.. Would I go back? in all honesty probably not.

Have stayed before so knew what to expect. Great location. Ealing itself is fine for shopping and there are many places to eat. Also very near train station for trips into London. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Rooms, especially ensuites, are a little tired and shabby. But you get what you pay for, and for what we paid we have no complaints.

The location, as it was very close to the college my daughter is planning to attend. We had a double and a single, on suite. The single room was very pokey and I think both rooms, & the general decor of the hotel, were in need of refurbishment. The shower in the single room had black mould around the shower tray. I also find it hard to believe this is classfied as a hotel. I can only assume its on the basis of the number of rooms.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but suited my needs as a single traveler. The place was well kept and they serve a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Everyone at the Hotel seemed to enjoy their selves. If I come to London again I will stay at the Grange again. You really cant beat it for the price and the location is in a quite and safe neighborhood. Highly recommend this to others. The only drawback is if you have problems with stairs you may want to let them know... I don't believe there was a lift and the stairs are quit narrow. The hotel on the tube route so you will have to walk about 500 meters to the tube station. The walk is a plesent one though though.

Great location, near tube yet in very quiet and no trafic noise and Ealing Common close by. Immaculately clean and everything worked (lights, kettle, shower etc.). Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfasts! Nothing to complaina about, tho a bit more sauce in sauce bottles might make life easier at breakfast :-)

The town of Ealing was quiet and only twenty mins by tube from central London. The b&b was very cute and cosy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend, being foreign, especially loved the 'english home' feel of the b&b and the quiet location. Room was great! Tv, radio, kettle.. Comfy, clean bed and perfectly functional on-suite bathroom. The breakfast was ok, but was included in our room and so cannot complain too much. If it had cost extra I probably wouldn't bother...

The hotel location is very good indeed because it is only 5 min walk from the Ealing Broadway tube station. The Hotel management and the stuff are very friendly. This is budget hotel, very clean and it has good breakfast. Grange Lodge is one of the best hotel B&B in London and I will stay next time when I will be in London.

The hotel was in a good location, not far from the shops of Ealing high street. The room was clean and there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. All in all I think that the hotel is excellent value for money. The decor was very dated and the ensuite was small. We could only get a few channels on the tv but it didn't matter to us as we were only staying one night. The breakfast was fine. We went with our young daughter and they didn't have a high chair, so if you have young children make sure you take your own.
