banging noises through the night?
Location, food, value for money
My father, husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Grange Moor Hotel very much. The Meals were excellent and the staff were very helpful. We would recommend this hotel.
facilities of a good standard
noisy bar until early hours
Nice size rooms with a comfortable bed and lots of TV channels. Good Wifi reception. Nice breakfast.
Having a mix-up with the booking. Having to pay extra for a breakfast.
Radiators in my room were not working. Lady on reception took time out to come to my room to investigate and sort. Bar staff so friendly and make guests feel at home. Food very good.
Man talking loudly on his mobile, when other guests trying to eat their dinner. Think the whole of Maidstone must know he is not happy with some of his work mates.
The hotel was a small comfortable , friendly place. The room was very cozy and very clean, I would stay again.
had no problems at all.
Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast good. Food available in evening till 9pm.
Coffee Sliding door to ensuite
Great staff and nice rooms. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.
Walls are a little too thin so could hear noisy neighbours. But this didn't detract from a great stay in this hotel.
Excellent staff attitude and very good food. Also very helpful.
Breakfast tables all had crumbs on them and when they did get cleaned the crumbs were wiped onto the floor. Having said that the staff were friendly and polite.
The room was clean and modern.
Corridors and communal areas need modernising gives a poor impression of the hotel.
Friendly night staff (we arrived late, having informed them first) Didnt have dinner, but had a good breakfast, with lots of choice.
Toilet handle broken - just turned without flushing. Ripped bed runner - making the room look tatty. I suggest not putting one on rather than a ripped one.
Good location & easy to find, within walking distance of the town centre. About 10 min taxi ride from the BBC Maidstone Sudios, which was why we were there. The staff on reception were welcoming & helpful. The bar maid & the waitresses at breakfast were cheerful & polite.Only had breakfast which was good,
Basic but good facilities. Everything worked, was clean and I had a peaceful time.
Nothing to dislike. I've stayed in single room and also double room. Latter was much bigger for not much more money so I'd recommend bigger room.
The staff are friendly and this time I booked a double room, with a bigger bed and better en-suite bathroom. I'd recommend that level of room even for a solo traveller. Good clean and quiet room. Quality of sleep was good.
No lift? Its a very vertical hotel with the rooms on upper floors. Navigating luggage and steep stairs isn't a lot of fun. My room had an odd up-step then down-step right outside the room door. All fine for me but not so great for older or less able travellers.
sometimes ignored at breakfast time by the waitresses
easy to find. within 30 mins of channel tunnel. friendly, helpful staff. room in annexe was quiet, so avoided noise of evening celebration in main hotel.
The food was really first class, both dinner and breakfast and both very good value for money. (Breakfast was only £5 each. The room was cheap at £50.
The bedroom was very cramped. It was really a single room sold as a double. No bath, just a very small shower and the shower head came from overhead so was not adjustable. Shower would be no good for a horizontally challenged person.
Bed that leant backwards and very lumpy pillows
Friendly staff and comfortable room
Restaurant food was excellent and the ladies who ran the evening restaurant were lovely, and very efficient. the staff in general were very helpful especially when there was loud music in the next room it was dealt with very quickly. All in all it was excellent value. with car parking etc.
Staff was very friendly, good location, room was clean, restaurant/bar downstairs was very convenient and food was good.
Due to the weather being so warm, we had to leave our very small window open to get some air in the room - there was a wedding that night, and they were up until 1 am, which also kept us up - they were right under us. Happy for them, but not for us! Make sure to ask for a room on the other side!
Food was terrible, Did not get a check back through out meal, breakfast was greasy.rooms out dated and had to walk in dark from restaurant down the road to other building. No lighting in car park, could not use car at night
Friendly, helpful staff Good breakfast, freshly cooked.
Dated decor We booked this hotel because it was rated as accessible for disabled but we found it quite difficult to get to our room.It was up a ramp, through a door we had to unlock and then try to turn the wheelchair in a narrow-ish corridor whilst keeping open the bedroom door which had a fairly strong spring on it. Didn't like the view from our window of the chair store.
