The hotel was clean ,comfortable and in a good location . The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was ready for check-in early & held onto our luggage for us on check-out day . The hotel had a calm & safe environment . All in all a good stay
The breakfast was too expensive & the bathroom washbasins drained very slowly . The reception area is a little cramped but not a lot to dislike .
the staff was very nice with one exception, the beds were comfy.
the room i booked did not look like the one i got, bathroom too small, badly smelling soap and toiletries.
Room a good size but over crowded with furniture.
Third bed in room makes it very cramped. No dressing table chair because of the extra bed taking all the room. No air conditioning.
Elegant rooms and lobby. Old world manners and service. Views were of the rooftops of London, just as in Mary Poppins.
clean and nice rooms
no air conditioning, room did become stuffy.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were staying at the hotel because of a family birthday party which was held there. All the guests had a wonderful time, especially the 80 year old birthday girl. Smiles all round. Room very well appointed, clean and quiet. Very nice food. Brilliant service
Having to leave
All great otherwise ! Excellent value for money
Room a little small
I liked the location and it was definitely value for money. The room was quite comfortable and the facilities were good.
I disliked the customer service from one member of staff on reception who caused me upset and embarrassment due to a misunderstanding with payment which was in fact (according to my bank) due to the hotel taking two payments from my account for the whole amount instead of one. This lady was rude, abrupt and very unprofessional. The rest of the staff were very nice but unfortunately this was overshadowed by this one woman and I will not be staying there again.
Reception Leggy Room name a few
£18.00 charge for breakfast a rip-off
great location, incredibly nice and accommodating staff. truly enjoyed my stay. would stay there again
mattress had seen better days
The staff were friendly Location was good for train station.
Paying for wifi these days feels strange. Had to manouvre sideways to close door in bathroon. No fridge in room (or it was well hidden :-) ok if price was much lower.
Staff v keen and eager to please.
Noisy room on front of hotel, décor rather tired. Only three teabags!
Good location. Staff amazing couldnt do enough for you. Skipped the breakfast way over priced. Amazing cafe 2 streets away. Had extra drinks added to my bill. Removed as soon as I queried it but do ALL hotels do this as a mater of course. It seems so to me.
Slightly dated. No aircon. Definately needed it during our visit. Fan provided but not the same.
I liked almost everything...
...but it would be better if there was an extractor fan in the bathroom.
The lift was very nice. Reception was well presented. Room very spacious.
Bathroom could do with an update.
Clean , well positioned and air conditionig in bedroom, ideal in the very warm weather.
Like all London hotels rather expensive but decent value compared to other hotels in the Capital
close to the attractions staff where nice its a wonderfull hotel
location only, and porter and staff very nice
room was small , old, bathroom old, noisy, tv on our first visit didn't work properly and the sink drainer lever at the back of the tap fell off. would have preferred the grange wellington
The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is very clean.
The rooms are very hot at the beginning.
Mobile charger available. 24 hour reception. Tea and coffee facilities.
No subtitles on the TV. Internet usage was expensive. Breakfast too expensive to be tempted.
The location is good. Less than 10 minutes walk from Paddington. Located near a park, relatively quiet streets around. The hotel is up to date, but still has a nice, old-fashioned style about it. Friendly staff.
No airconditioning in my room.
