Liked the location, very good for getting out and about. Room was clean and had everything required. Staff very helpful. Thank you!
Location, design, facilities, services, (esp concierge service) and very comfortable room.
Room was too hot and struggled to work the aircon to reduce the temperature
Location was very good
Check in and out was slow, need more staff at busy times
Good location, very comfortable. lovely room
Room is virtually touching distance from office block opposite and could do with blinds of some sort that still let in the light. Christmas parties going on but understand this is a necessary evil for hotels at this this time of year
Hotel is very modern and we managed to get a room with a view of st pauls which was beautiful at night. Convenient for Blackfriars tube station also. Room was lovely and comfortable very clean too. Fairly good value for money in London. We could leave our bags in the hotel after check out so we could enjoy our last few hours of London without trailing luggage.
With it being a bit 5 star hotel there was a function on every night so the bar was always busy and people were always on the street outside making noise. Lucky for us we were back quite late but if you wanted to go to bed at a normal time you'd struggle. We complained about a member if staff that was really rude to us at reception-dont think anything has been done about it. One lift was out of service- given there are 2 main lifts for this massive hotel it meant there was big queues just to get to/ from your room. Towels werent very soft or fluffy-a bit worn feeling/looking. These things didnt spoil our stay but are points that shouldnt be an issue at 5 star standard.
Overall stay was great, staff were friendly and attentive. Only slight issue a member of staff came into room without knocking twice to stock fridge within 30 mins of me checking in.
Room was a little dusty the lamps and curtains.
Slow and no fast check out
Room was very spacious, bathroom also. Staff were first-class and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Having asked for 'quiet room' was still awake at midnight by noise of party going on. Phoned reception who apologised and gave us 'full breakfast service' as a way of compensation - this was much appreciated. 2nd evening noise from another party - being December these were Christmas Functions - we were staying at this hotel as part of wedding guests.
Hotel was good location clean tidy modern , expensive for food and drinks at the bar best eating out
The flat screen Tv in the room did not work on the Itv Channel the saterlight signal was not strong th picture kept going in and out no volume , flickering picture they said they were getting in the IT dept to fix the signal but when you pay £180 per night you expect th tv to work in your room , very poor for a hotel of this stature.
Excellent location to view the tourist attractions around. Easy to get to from St. Paul's station Beautiful plush interior
Our room was meant to be ready at 3pm but we only got it 45 min later and we didnt really get an explanation as to why Breakfast is £25 as an add on (rip off).. Food and drinks were expensive in general, a cup of tea was £5 so we went across the road to GBK, Strada and Pizza Express to eat. Random housekeeping check at 6pm in the evening It's meant to be a 5* hotel but it felt like we had a 3* experience. I have stayed in better with less *'s.
The hotel is situated in an excellent place close to everything but away from the busy traffic. The rooms are big and comfortable.
Loved the village feel of the St Paul's area but easy walking to Covent garden and west end Loved the twin double beds and large room
Change the shower head to square or round... the large rectangle was hopeless
Excellent service, loved the room
The hotel was ideally placed right by St Pauls, bed superbly comfortable & room very quiet. Room service prompt & breakfast good.
Although I booked 2 months in advance & requested a St Pauls view, receptionist said she had no note of any special request & had no St Pauls view rooms. We faced a BT building & room was very dark
Very discrete service. there if you needed but not in yoyr face.
Brweakfast was very expensive so we did not bother
This hotel has a room for people who have a handicap.
We get an upgrade, but it was a room for persons with a handicap. This was not a room for persons with no handicap. Not at all. This was a real disappointment.
The fact that I did not get a discount when I had to cancel one night because of illness.
We were upgraded. downside was that the building was seperate. Up isde it was a beustiful suite and if you required anything it was there. Hotel great, staff great. Spa great.
location is perfect, right next to st pauls cathedral. staff were very friendly. would be sure to come back!
only 2 lifts in lobby, very very busy at check out. view was of a back alley where workmen were digging up the road.
Perfect location for our weekend plans and super views from the roof terrace. Very comfortable and reasonably quiet twin room, a double bed each and good bathroom with bath and separate shower, slippers and robes. Charming and efficient service on reception during check in and out plus instant access to our room well before standard check in time.
Bath towels rather small and not very soft, lifts slow majority of the time. Service very poor in Silks Bar, on a quiet evening 3 staff behind the bar but we had to go up to order (I did confirm that they were supposed to come to our table) Cocktails took ages to arrive and were poor quality, nobody came over to see whether we wanted another drink and after a long wait I had to go to the bar again to pay as we were again being ignored. No atmosphere in any of the bars or public areas, several functions/conferences going on during our visit so maybe not interested in guests staying for leisure rather than business.
Everything! The hotel was fantastic, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were very modern and clean. I even mentioned it was my girlfriends birthday at the desk and the next thing room service knocked on the door with some complimentary cupcakes! Would recommend to anyone
Room very good Pleasant and efficient staff Great location
Poor breakfast, expensive and cold Not all lifts working meaning waiting ages to go up and down
I love this hotel, the location and comfort, real quality, always makes me smile.
It does take a long time to check in and check out, more importantly on check out when I am in a rush but waited 15 minutes behind people organising their mail, arranging afternoon tea, it might be good to have a check out only desk for those travelling on business and need to be a bit quicker getting out

We been to the Grange three times. first time was for my daughters friend birthday party when she was 12yrs. Her father did some work for the Grange hotel and decided to hold his daughter b/day party there 4yrs ago. Since then my daughter cannot go anywhere else when we want to stay in London. We have stayed at the Premier Inn which was nothing compare to the Grange. We had her 14th b/day party for her and her friends. We went on a family weekend and also held our son's 18th b/day their this year. My son was so surprise when a cake for his b/day was brought to his room.
I wasn't please with the staff in the Spa they were rude to my daughter and her friends about entering the Spa. They had to come and get myself to confirm their stay. When I booked the Executive Suite for my son the room wasn't has large compare to the details and pictures on the Grange website.
