Grange Tower Bridge Hotel  

Super professional, friendly, helpful, sharp staff -- the concierge, in particular, was exemplary; wonderful room amenities: tea service, comfortable bed with fresh, crisp linens, lovely contemporary design in the room and bathroom; great room view of city and it was so quiet; newspaper and turn down service; 24 hour bar.

Bath towels a little too large and no wash clothes. Not a huge fan of berry scented, themed body gel soap.

Location excellent Food in restaurant excellent and not over priced either which was nice to see.

Hot breakfast could have been better quality. Scrambled eggs not good !!!!!

The location was excellent. The food in the restaurant for the evening meal very good and reasonable priced especially the children's menu. I would particularly commend the concierge team who went out of their way to assist our journey to the Hackney Empire as a family of six.

Totally happy with facilities of this hotel really good price with great food,excellent porters to help.

However staff at reception very unorganised took half hour to check in which resulted in me missing a bridal dress apt which i.was charged for, our rooms (I booked 2) were not next door to.each other i was told they would be. our room wasn't ready at allocated check in time, a room booking which i had cancelled 3 weeks before hadn't been updated to the system which causeconfusion.

Rooms are reallly big and nice. We stayed at he 12th floor and the view was wanderful. The hotel is really close to london bridge underground. The facilities in the room are perfect.

The manner of the hotel staff. They were rude and unhelpful. The fact that my colleague could not pay for my room for me over the phone or online. (As we werent aware that the company credit card wasnt debited) Meaning I had to use my 'personal' card and will now have to go through mountains of paperwork to claim the expense back. My journey was made unbearable and on my arrival, I recieved no sympathy of my situation and even found out at the reception that after all that, I wasnt entitled to breakfast and then to my dismay the restuarant was closed and I was left tired, angry, emotional and hungry. I will not return to your hotel nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Other staff looked down their noses at us In the shower there was a very sharp metal bit which scratched and bruised me: possibly an issue for health and safety We didn't have the credit card with us on arrival and hotel would not accept payment via this card over the phone with the credit card holder meaning we had to fork out a large amount of our spending money - very unfair

The fact that we were disturbed by room service, despite the do not disturb being on. Plugs in the room didn't work. The bar was overpriced. The room service delivery being charged at £4

Didn't stay was a company booking via booking .com I arrived thinking it was paid for. They wouldn't accept a telephone payment from my company I stayed elsehere

I was surprised that there was no bottled water as complimentary in room

Thought the staff on check in and check out where extremely efficient and polite despite being busy. Also requested a room on a high floor when making the booking and I got one.

Ordered food in the bar on Saturday morning which was a little slow in arriving.

Luxurious rooms. Great facilities. Nice decor.

No robes in room. Had to wait for room to be cleaned at 4.30pm on second day.

Everything was fantastic, probably one of the best hotels in London.

The location was perfect for sightseeing and it had all the facilities required for a comfortable relaxing overnight stay. Clean & contemporary.

No robes or slippers in the room for leisure facilities. A minor point but, tea & coffee provided in the room was limited - only 2 tea bags. Afterall its the little things that make all the difference!

This was my second stay and nothing like my first- this time filled with hen parties etc and the hotel has list everything we liked about it a year ago. Won't be back, sadly.

It was a good location for exploring the city and sightseeing. The room was clean and there was no noise from other guests during the night. The beds were really comfortable.

It felt very busy and there seemed to always be a queue in the reception area. We didn't have dressing gowns in our room that we had requested before our stay. (They were swiftly provided once we asked) There were 3 of us staying in the room but only two mugs and glasses were provided. Our windows faced another set of windows so you could see straight in. I would have expected either nets or not so transparent windows as there was no privacy with the curtains open (it was broad daylight so you wouldn't want them closed)

Not sufficient towels for the 3 of us. Not told that if we wanted bathrobes for use in the spa that we had to request them.

Key cards don't work properly, I frequently got locked out of room as the cards didn't let me in. This ALWAYS happens during the second week of stay at this hotel.

A good Hotel in a convenient location near Tower Bridge.
