Although the bedroom was small it was adequate for a nights stay and the bed was so comfortable, tv and tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, a very cosy and safe room, the staff were really friendly and very helpful and polite. The breakfast was lovely.

Only the bathroom, it was so tiny brushing your teeth you had to lean over to spit in the sink. The soap container was on the wall that's how tiny it was. This is the only reason I wouldn't stay here again.

Grange View was very good value for money, the owners were very friendly and welcoming, so much so that when we asked if they could phone a taxi for us, they said they would take us to the venue to save us the cost of a taxi, I would say that is above and beyond what was expected, and really appreciated.

Not enough time to really enjoy our time there....maybe next time?

Joanne stayed up late and got up early to find out what we needed for the two different ferries we had to take the next day. We had been given erroneous information from another source and she figured out how we could work around the problem it posed for our travel plans. We felt like we were treated like old loved family. I would go back in an instant if in the area.

At arrival Joanne showed us our rooms. As we had the family room this consisted of a living/bed room and a separate bedroom. All was immaculate and Joanne could not have been more welcoming to myself my mum and my 11 year old daughter. There was even a card as it was my daughters birthday. The breakfast was scrummy and we thoroughly enjoyed our days there. We hope to get back again nxt year and we would recommend it highly. Thank you so much Joanne and Ross

This Bed & Breakfast is a rare find. Exceptionally clean and very modern it is a welcoming place to stay. I travel for business and very much enjoyed my stay. I was up early for a jog along the beach and Joanne served the best breakfast I have ever had. Excellent value for money, very friendly owners, I will definitely be back.

Very friendly and helpful staff providing a very good breakfast. Located within walking distance of the town and sea front.

The room was adequate but quite small, on the ground floor and facing a fairly busy road with some traffic noise. The bathroom whilst very well finished was too small for purpose occupying a floor space of about 1.5 m2. It was impossible to sit squarely on the toilet without placing one foot in the shower tray. The wash basin was approximately 6' by 12" and totally inadequate for washing and shaving

The B&B is quite near to the city centre, well facilitated and nicely decorated. The view around is wonderful. Really warm welcome from one of the owner Joanne and gave us the map kindly. Also, my boyfriend and I really liked the breakfast Joanne cooked for us. Fabulous Scottish breakfast! Overall of the staying was good, though some ‘unhappy’ moments happened.

We thought for a long time whether to say this. But who we believe was the other owner of this B&B, Ross, made us feel bad. First, the gauze curtains in the double-bed room are relatively easy to fall. So when we tried to draw, one of them fell and we decided to deal with it later after the dinner. Then, 'Ross' suddenly broke into the dining room in the middle of our dinner and asked us to deal with the curtain saying in a bad attitude, like we did that in purpose, which made us feel really uncomfortable. Second, at around 11pm, my boyfriend and I were watching videos in the room. 'Ross' came down, knocked the door heavily, and asked us to be quiet. We knew we should not be loud during the night, which however we believed was not too loud to annoy people, it made my boyfriend and I feel bad in a while after ‘Ross' went upstairs. We were supposed to enjoy the one day there, but instead, we thought of behaving nicely so that 'Ross’ wouldn't come to us again. If you would like the guests to be quiet after a certain time in the evening, you should notify us when we arrive or somewhere else on the website, instead of behaving directly like that and making negative effect on other’s mood when we expected it to be a lovely trip. Maybe we were just unlucky when 'Ross' were not in good mood. Hope this will not happen to any other travellers again.
