This is a lovely boutique hotel set in an excellent location for central London sight seeing and shopping. The staff in the restaurant let the hotel down. They made breakfast complicated by a lack of good English and confrontational style with guests around us. More training required. |

The location of the hotel - very quiet and in a beautiful street. Had all the facilities we needed Room was very very small for a superior one. Although the booking confirmed we were getting a superior room I think we were probably given a standard room |

The location was ideal as within close walking distance of theatres, Covent Garden, Regent Street etc. Did not have to catch the tube or a taxi anywhere. In a beautiful quiet street with beautiful Edwardian buildings. We booked a superior double room but not sure whether that was what we got and if we did I would not class it as superior. Also tried to charge us more than the agreed price when we booked on line when we checked in. |

Good central location, room / bar service a bit limited after 10 pm (sandwiches only) but was better value than surrounding hotels. Lack of air conditioning, no net curtain in bathroom but otherwise comfortable |

Location is very near form Underground and British Museum. Staff is extremly helpful and friendly. Rooms are new refurbished and bathrooms are very clean. 1.Instead of Superior room (was booked) first night we were settled in small double which usually used as single - room was changed for Superior only next day without refund for the first night. Should be more careful with overbookings. 2. No enough hooks for towels in bathroom - very unconvinient. 3. No wi-fi in rooms, internet is expensive - 5 GBP/hour and no possibility to use less than 1 hour, you should pay 5 GBP even if used only 10 minutes |

Hotel staff were nice and quite helpful. The room was also nice with good facility. However, the day we stayed are really hot day. The whole hotel building and the room are hotter and more humid than the outside. It seemed that rubbish/glass bottle collection stateted 4 o'clock in the morning just in front of the hotel. It lasted more than one hour there-the considerable/continuous noise on the street made us wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning. That was really unpleasant. |

It's easy to walk everywhere from this hotel. In a nice quiet area. Our room was near the lift, despite requesting the opposite, but staff were very helpful in getting us moved to a room further down the corridor. Old world but it needs a refurbishment. |

The pillows were really great. I had a terrible experience here. The double superior room, is in no way superior, it was small, and the bed was not a double but a big single. The room was located on the lower ground floor, that's the basement to you and me. The view from the window was the service area, which get used quite frequently and it was very noisy. Staff in very helpful and a bit rude. Could write more but out of space |
