Comfy bed, excellent staff, very helpful. Great location.
Rooms a bit small. Bathroom was very small.
We have stayed at this hotel many times and always find staff pleasant and very helpful.
This is the first time we have had a ground floor bedroom. Large bedroom - ok, looked out onto the garden - very nice but I didn't like the pull down bed. It was comfortable but I didn't like it.
Quiet street Helpful staff Comfortable room and bed Good tea and coffee facilities Good bathroom products
Large ground floor room with doors opening onto balcony / garden area. Large china elephant in cupboard! Room very well-lit.
most staff, location. ice and proper milk delivered to the room - so tea tasted good. (I hate UHT!) lots of shampoo and conditioner in room and that they were separate.
Check out am receptionist- CBA attitude. Price of breakfast - just silly!! I wanted mugs in rooms I don't like that business colleagues is not a category in this online feedback form!
Loved the location..on a lovely quiet street...hotel was very clean, bed very comfortable so had a good nights sleep...staff very good and efficient. The 24 hour bar opening is a nice option, if getting in late from a meal or theatre, always good to have a night cap!
Great position, nice hotel and some very helpful staff
Hotel is in need of updating/decorating with some areas very tired. Reception staff who didn't know what they were doing on Friday, the young lady on Saturday was veryveffucient
Value for money and location for our trip
Although the double bed was 4 poster, it was quite small (3/4 size)
The hotel is conveniently situated, only a short walk to Covent Garden and Oxford Street. The strafe are welcoming and the rooms very clean and comfortable. I stay here many times a year on both business and leisure.
The rooms can be a bit warm but fans are available
clean, nice private garden
the room was very small, much more expensive than nearby hotels
Breakfast only average and not good value for money.
Nice rooms overlooking the garden. Great!
Easy to get around. friendly helpful staff,
dishes left in the hall all day, and the room not made up by 5 pm one day.Billing was confusing with people want to put 50p on my card in case I might spend that much, Disconcerting.
The hotel was very quiet and very good value for money. Location great, comfy beds. A comfortable stay. Would recommend.
The hotel is really well located. It saved us great time to get around and go everywhere we wanted to go during our short stay. The staff was available and gave us the best service.
The pictures on the website made the rooms seem way more spacious. We were told we were upgraded to a better room but it just scares me to think about the size of the standard room. We could barely fit in the bed and I'm small. The closet space looked like the one of a motel. I had never been in a hotel paying this price without even having a mini bar. With no fridge on our first night we would at least expect them to leave a bottle of water as a welcome. The wifi was free but the logon was tidious. The bathroom was tiny and didn't even have a toilet brush. The hotel seems like it had a good standing time time ago but it is being maintained badly. We had a terrace (shared with the other rooms) totally empty, when they could have installed a few plants to seperate the space and a couple of lounge chairs to make it enjoyable. The gold plate sign of the hotel outside was really dirty and just makes you think about how clean is your room really. I believe they could do much much more for this price.
Very clean and quiet, friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect for sightseeing.
I don't have any negatives.
The location the most :)
Good staff, late check out free of charge.
Tiny room, toilet right next to large window which isn't practical at all.
Bar man didn't know how to serve drinks. Staff not great!!
Comfortable room, lovely big bathroom with proper window My son loved the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Glass Elevator The staff were all very helpful and friendly
Room was good, but warm in May - but would be hot in summer (we were on the top floor). Could open windows - but not much air circulation (minor issue!)
It was about 45 minutes by metro from Heathrow with just one line and no transfers needed. It is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Its right next to the British Museum and it is a block away from the London University. The location is a short metro ride from all the major tourist locations too. The staff was very nice in helping us navigate through the maps and they even looked up information online to give us accurate metro times and costs.
The rooms and beds are very small.
Smallst of room. Your service was great and so were your help.
Have stayed here a few times before as it is a ideal location for the West End. Hotel is with walking distant of most of the theatres. The rooms are lovely and clean and comfortable. It does however depend if you are staying in a average room or an executive room. We stayed on a room basis only this time. We have stayed in a B & B basis. Would recommend this hotel
Only slight problem that we have incurred before. Is that it does get very busy at breakfast and sometimes you can have quite a wait for a table.
Staff very friendly
Gave us different room to are booking . Then got right room but curtain was ripped the window jammed so couldn't open it and there were dirty marks on ceiling and light fitting was coming away from ceiling. We paid a lot for this room so expected better.
Big comfy bed, and close to the British Museum!
The noise in the morning from slamming doors and creaking floors.
