Everything from the moment we set foot in the door
Nothing to dislike
Friendly welcome Good choice for continental breakfast microwave / fridge/toaster/cooker - well equipped (although we only stayed one night so didn't use most of them) quiet warm and comfortable generally very clean (a few cobwebs and dusty areas around the wooden cladding)
plug in air freshener a bit strong kitchen light hummed View from the guest rooms was a bit uninspiring (although that didn't matter for us as we only stayed 1 night and it was dark - in summer I would have liked access to the back of the house / garden as shown on photo) would have liked some instructions on how the shower worked
Friendliness and cleanliness of the place. Continental breakfast choice was excellent and plentiful
Bathroom doors were awkward. Bed could have been better
Hostess Room View Ensuite facilities Cleanliness Continental Breakfast Supplies
I booked this on behalf of my family an elderly couple in their 70's. They said they had a fabulous stay
The room looked out over a lovely garden with open fields beyond. It was well presented and the bed very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and there was a good choice for breakfast.
The WiFi was a little on the slow side but we were warned in advance.
Location, size of room, free off-road parking & in-room facilities
Dust webs along walls & ceiling, hard to contact staff for additional teabags, etc
Vert friendly staff who ensured that we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The room was clean, functional and good value.
wifi worked and taxis were reliable
no hot breakfast
The views from the windows. Good location. Excellent parking.
Special dietary request (gluten-free) completely ignored. No cooked breakfast option.
The facility of a self contained unit with no breakfast time limits
Some decoration required in our room. Other rooms now in the process of redecoration so this may not be an issue for future guests
The lady that greeted us was very friendly and lighthearted , a very nice lady. The bedroom was cosy and the bed very comfy with wonderful pillows ( strange comment I know ) the view was overlooking the countryside and on a nicer day would have been a great view from the window , overall a pleasant stay and a place we hope to return to.
interesting idea to have diy breakfasts with own facilities, very flexible
bread, cereals, etc were basic
Friendly welcome and very good information about local area. Could do with a bit of a spruce up but comfortable enough.
Friendly Comfortable Quiet Atmosphere Value for money Best place I've stayed at in a long time.
Lovely, quiet location. Very good breakfast choices.
Comfortable, no rush to breakfast, and amazing views. Garden a lovely peaceful area to relax in. A 1 Stay. *****
Nothing we didn't like.
Lovely warm welcome , i had told them i would be arriving late but this was no problem shown to the gold room, facitities explained keys given for front door and hostess even offered to drive me to her sugested public house to dine, continental breakfast pleantifull with lots of choice , bed and linen clean and comfortable.will stay here again with no hesitation , thanks to all.
Shame there no village public house, although a taxi was very quick and reliable.
We were so touched by the help given to us after a flat tyre and delayed train. The staff made what could have been a distressing situation much easier, and were far more helpful than i would ever expect given how inexpensive the room was.
Lack of proper breakfast Only Nescafe available Bed sheets didn't fit properly Mattresses were saggy
Kitchen facilities good, as microwave available and everything required for breakfast in room.
overall a nice building. Wifi working very well. Breakfast served in the room was ok.
No desk available in the room, so if you need to work on your laptop it is difficult to find a comfortable work position. The mattresses are a bit too soft.
Beautiful property in wonderful grounds. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony over looking the beautiful gardens. Lovely idea for breakfast, Its only continental but its all in your room ready for you and you couldn't possibly leave Hungary.
I found the welcome, and room excellent and comfortable, with the kitchen very useful,
Bed was a bit soft for me.. And wi_fi very poor..
