As we were going to a concert at the Shephers Bush Empire the location was perfect. Also excellent location for tube station. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful. The room was suitable for our needs. The breakfast was appalling. There was no menu and no-one explained what was available unless asked. It felt more like a budget/hostel breakfast with cereal, toast and a very hard boiled egg as the only breakfast items available. As we had nearly finished our egg and toast a member of staff brought a tray of warm croissants which no-one had as we were full by then, though we would have preferred croissant if we had known they would be available. We did not have breakfast the following morning at the hotel as we had been so disappointed by our experience. Clearly this is not good value for money.

It is in very close proximity to the o2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and Bush Theatre. It's just across the road. Very handy. I booked this hotel as I was seeing a concert at the Empire two nights in a row and wanted somewhere close by so I didn't have any transport problems. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had a single room. It was very small. Just enough room for a single bed. The ensuite bathroom was also small with little room to get dried without banging your arm off the sink and your leg off the toilet when you come out of the shower. The small flat screen TV was up a height and when you sat down the picture was distorted as you weren't at the correct angle to watch due to the flat screen. Found a hair in the bathroom. There were spelling mistakes in the emergency info on the back of the door - "availabe exite" instead of "available exit".

Good position, five minutes walk from Shepherd's Bush?s metro station. Typical English furniture. Bathroom really tiny, not easy for a person 190 cm tall to move inside there.

The location is near the Holland park, in the Zone 2. Quite convenient to take the tube and bus. The shower water is very weak. It is almost like leaking. There is no window in the attic room, but only a door to the "balcony". At summer night, the attic room is very hot. Either open the only door to cool the room down, or close door to keep safe but bare the heat.

Location is good. 3 minutes walking from Shepherd's Bush Tube Station and Westfield. Nearby, local shops and restaurants. Rooms in the back are silent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Showers could have been cleaner. Needs renovation.

I really liked the breakfast. It even came with cheese, boiled eggs and croissants!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone with a low budget who wants a clean, simple room in London. The room was a little small, but since my stay was only for one night, that was no problem.

Very convenient for what we were doing (attending a BBC TV recording). We could easily walk there. Close to tube station. Staff were all polite and welcoming, both at reception and at breakfast. Beds were comfortable and rooms had all we needed for an overnight stay. There was nothing we didn't like - only thing which would have made things slightly better would have been a plug for the sink! Oh yes, and some easier way of filling the kettle, which wouldn't fit under the tap and was a bit time consuming to fill from a glass!

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. We had to pay the entire stay when we arrived. Breakfast was ok (with eggs, cheese and so on) but we expected a typical English breakfast with ham, sausages etc.

Convenient and comfortable, staff were helpful, and the price was very competitive for the location. Within good walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants, westfields, and tube access. There is a £3 a night wifi charge, but the use is unlimited. The heater (radiator) was never turned on, night or day leaving the room cold during my winter stay. I had the room next to reception, and the staff didn't stop talking until 11-12 every night, making it hard to sleep. Also I have to mention the breakfast like most reviewers do, although the service is nice as is the room you eat in, the selection of food is poor, and you often have to ask as the majority isn't on display. I have to complaint like many do about the noise levels of the city. The hotel is in the middle of London what do you expect?

The hotel staff are helpful and the location is excellent 5 minutes walk from Shepherds Bush Tube station, the room was tiny I wasn't expecting it to be so small, when you lifted the toilet lid you got a smell of sewerage so I left it down obviously, the tv was positioned on a chest of drawers and could not be viewed properly unless I left it at the end of the bed. Pro's Location is excellent Helpful staff Relatively cheap Cons Room was far too small Smell of sewerage from toilet Could not view TV properly

Neighbourhoud: The Grantly Hotel is situated on a busy road close to Sheaperds Bush Underground station wich gives access to the Cental line that brings you directly and in short time into central Londen and to many of Londons highlights. When you come to London for shopping you might consider the Westfield shoppingcentre, situatated directly at Sheppard Bushes underground station. Here you’ll find over 300 shops, bars, café’s, restaurants and more under one brand new roof. Among these shops many of Londons highstreet labels, factoryshops and a large supermarket. Close to the hotel you’ll find many (cheap and fastfood) restaurants and shops. The hotel; my room was cleaned, the bed was made and fresh towels were provided every day. Breakfast was basic but staf was willing to provide extra food when asked. In room Smal flatscreen TV (British broadcast only), watercooker, hairdryer. My conclusion: Good value for money. Grantly hotel is situated directly on a busy road with havy citytraffic from early morning to late night. Over nights quiet enough (for me) to sleep well. Bed could be hard to some but I liked it. Shower and toilet in the room in good clean shape but small. Hot water in shower is regulated to smal stream and it takes long to heat up completely. My singleroom was situated in the basement and altough there were 2 windows there was no vieuw at the outsides of the hotel.
