Grantly Hotel  

Very friendly and helpful, three min walk from train station, convenient to various shopping and great restaurants. Can be romantic or for family, has adequate size room for number of people.

Very small bathroom but still nice.

Warm room, comfortable clean and lovely on suite. Nice cuppa waiting on return after day out.Central line across green .....what more!! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger .........ILL BE BACK!!!!!

Friendly staff and great location. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money especially as breakfast was included.

Couldn't pick up the wifi in my room. Not a big problem as I was only using an iPhone and there was a good 3G signal

The location is really good, close to shepherd bush central line and shepherd bush market hammersmith city line. Nice staff! helpful and friendly.

Perfectly adequate single room, comfortable bed, that was all I needed really. Staff pleasant.

Despite knowing the bathroom was under the stairs and trying to be very careful, I still managed to bang my head and end up with a lump! I think at least the 'ceiling' should be covered with something flat rather than leaving it as the underside of stairs

The hotel is centrally located in Shepherds Bush just 50 meters away from the subway and on a street with cafes, restaurants and the colorful market. It is also some 100 meters away from Westfield shopping complex. The rooms are clean and cosy, although some of the furniture can do with a re-jig. The staff were educated and discreet. The price has to be the hotel's best lure: gbp290 for two adults and an 8 year-old plus a baby staying for 3 night on B&B. We visited when temperatures in London hit record lows of 2 degrees going below zero at night but the room we had was comfortable with central heating.

The breakfast room, which is a partly-roofed over backyard room, is slightly small. Having to carry a buggy for our youngest down and up a narrow flight of steps (the place has no lift or ramp access to rooms) was inconvenient although the evening receptionist twice came out to help me lift the buggy.

The grantly hotel was clean, comfortable and very handy for our visit to London. Breakfast very good.

The location of the hotel, the fact I could book it at the last minute.

They didn't know about my booking when I arrived, Breakfast was included but the breakfast room wasn't open at 7am?? Reception was closed when I wanted to check out and the place looked deserted. I couldn't hand my keys back so I had to post them into the reception area through a slot in the glass!!

excellent value for money,approx 4 minutes from shepards bush underground very clean central to everything

even though we were getting up at 6.00am and the resturant did not open on sunday morning until 8,00am we were offered access to make our own breakfast nice one

Car parking space - rare for London hotels!

Had to ask to move rooms as the first room stunk of cigarette smoke and I'm a non-smoker

Location is great...

Where to start. I usually never write bad reviews but this was my worst stay at any hotel around the globe. My room was freezing cold, even though the heat was on full power and the hairdryer blowing. Simply cold air blowing through the windows. The room smelled of sour and urine. The guy at the lobby showed no interest since he was doing a personal phone call and browsing Facebook. When I went to breakfast after sleepless night there where no lights in breakfast room. Talked to the same guy as the night before and he told me to help myself, I mean there was no food or drinks on the table so would have to dig through the refrigerator to find something. Didn't bother and went to the nearest café. Terrible stay and would never recommend for anyone!!!

Good position for tube and bus. Windows open and close properly and heating easily controllable. The bedroom was clean and well appointed except for bed .....

... room too small for a double bed, one side squashed against wall so had to climb over sleeping partner! But worst of all was the black mould in shower room - someone had tried to wipe it down but it was still disgusting so we did not shower at all.

The location to Sherpherds' Bush underground was excellent. The staff was quite friendly.

The breakfast was not of the "English" nature - more French, but certainly sufficient.

the traffic noise which coming from a small NZ town, I was not used to. So many sirens constantly!!!!
