not far from town center
room too small and it sloped towards the window needs work on the room.
Location of hotel and value for money, we travelled with our son so price was a factor.
The downstairs room was noisey in the mornings due to dining room above.
Large room with all facilities made stay very comfortable.
Party of guests across the hall entering room without knocking on door.
Lovely and natural staff esp at check-in Nicholle you are a gem.. friendly and un assuming place to stay...nice double room clean and un-pretentious...well worth the cost of the stay and just such normal nice and genuinely friendly staff
car park is tiny..was given parking disc for street parking but not ideal...and yep I did get a parking ticket.....asked reception for an iron and was given one that was so well-used that the flex had frayed through to the bare wire...slightly dangerous and very avoidable..

Car parking was bit of an issue ..very small car park at back of hotel however reception gave us a parking disc that is valid 6 pm - 9am they do have permits outside these hours so dont forget to ask for one ! we were lucky to get a space at front of hotel . customer service with front of house staff did vary from each staff member
Free parking duration of time there. Very prompt and filling breakfast. Friendly staff who knew the area well. Very clean. Easy to find and comfortable. Wonderful powerful shower.
Bathroom a bit dated
Very handy location. Staff very good.
In the basement. Noisy unit outside window all night, and room under dining room so wakened at 6.30am and had to listen to the noise from then on.
The hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood. The room was adequate, though not exceptional. Service was very good. There was a bit of a screw up with the Booking.com reservation but the receptionist dealt with it OK.
Good location. Guests there were friendly.
Staying in a room at basement. Small windows. Prices were higher than the 4-star hotel nearby.
Great hotel that is nice and close to Harrogate City Centre. It was clean and very comfortable. Great place to stay and will definitely stay there again.
We were at a conference for 3 days so Grants Hotel was an ideal location for the conference centre. An excellent hotel, polite and helpful staff, good place to relax with a glass of wine and good choice of breakfasts.
Car parking facility could be better.

Parking could be tricky.Dated facilities

Brilliant location (5 mins from Bettys tea rooms). Very clean. Decent breakfast (if a little pricey). Big common room. MOST of the staff were great.
No aircon/fans, place was roasting. Wifi was non-existent in the room. Very cheap toilet paper.
Hot water took a while to come thru. Room was a bit small. Noise upstairs was annoying.
Room on top floor at 69 a bit of a puff job getting o my room
Superior room was in basement. Dark. Complained , our next room was tired with a pampas coloured bathroom ! A bad smell was in hall way near room . People were drinking outside under our room as outside seating there, noisy. Over charged we felt.
