Friendly and welcoming staff. Good central location .Freshly cooked breakfast with very good options - best I have seen in a long time
Bathroom looked a bit tired but was clean
The entrance and bar lovely Elaine on reception and bat and general every duty was excellent. A credit to Grants
The room 161 was adjacent to stairs so very noisy when hotel busy.
Conveniently situated near to HIC, with lift to all floors, so good if carrying lots of equipment. The breakfasts were good.
The lighting in the bedroom was poor so not easy for working at night. There was no option for bar meals or snacks.
This hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Harrogate International Centre and within 5 minutes walk of several eating places. The room was clean and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable.
The room I stayed in was directly under the bar/dining room and so footsteps travelled loudly through the floor. The water in the shower had to run for about 5 minutes to get hot.
Location. Staff. Breakfast. Car parking all excellent.
Location of the bedroom and the ridiculously low height of the bed.
No hot water both evenings and last morning to shower
excellent location and friendly staff. really enjoyed cooked breakfast. Would be happy to stay here again.
pillows a bit hard.
Grants Staff are warm welcoming and Approachable. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and loved it. Their prices are fair and reasonable the breakfast menu is brill. So why dont you try it for yourselfN
Great location, quiet side street with its own car park - great! Good size twin room with lovely bathroom.
All good - no negatives!
Too much noise off floor boards above room.
Breakfast was good and service excellent
Back Bedroom was spartan and cramped. Access up too many stairs in spite of the lift. Regular users probably know which rooms to ask for, this didn't apply to us. We don't wish to repeat the experience.
Excellent stay spotless rooms and good staff and would return.
Large room very clean and comfortable.Staff were helpful couldnt do enough for you.Breakfast was very good and a large selection to choose from.Rebecca who I thought was the manager as she seemed to do everything was particularly helpful. Will definitely return.
There was nothing to not like.
Very easy walking distance too and from the center. Great breakfast. Clean, warm and cosy room. Friendly and attentive staff.
The fact we couldn't stay any longer!
Very helpful staff, comfortable bed, overall the hotel is nice and quiet. Easy to find and just a short walk into town. Good value for money too.
I'm not used to traffic noise so that's the only thing, apart from my baby, that interrupted my sleep.
not a lot
parking being charged for breakfast
Basement room no sleep too noisy from upstairs people in and out. Mrs Wilson middlesbrough
Grants Hotel is in a central location: ideal for most tourist spots including the Valley Park, Museum, Gallery and town centre. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The shower in the room was brilliant! - so was the porridge for breakfast.
Our room was a little gloomy but at night that doesn't matter. There is nothing else to criticise to take this up to the 200 character minimum.
Stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Ripon Races. Great location for the centre of Harrogate for shopping and nightlife. Also a lovely walk to Harlow Carr through Valley Gardens. Would certainly recommend. Breakfast was excellent.
Hotel car park is small but on street parking is available.
Breakfast is superb, staff friendly.
Bathroom was dated but to be honest does it really matter?? No food available on evenings but location is so good you can eat in loads of places within a 5 minute walk.
The downstairs (common) rooms had obviously been up-dated were lovely.
We brought our dog, and were charged an extra £10 for doing so - the room was tiny and there wasn't any room to swing a cat, let alone a dog! We bought our own dog bed and could barely squeeze it in. We had to ask for towels as only one set was provided and everything was extremely dated. Not really impressed to be honest.
almost everything, cold'nt find a niggle. good location traveled up by train to Harrogate, if gone in car no parking resrvations first come first served bases.
Idealy placed for both town centre and the purpose of our visit ie a weeding . Enjoyed our stay and will be visiting again for a leisurely weeks holidsy
Location for International centre was excellent, only 5 mins walk.
Décor and carpets were tired and dated with flaking paint on windows. I have stayed in much plusher hotels for the same or less money. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor which fortunately didn't come into the bedroom. The bedroom was a bit on the small side. En suite bathroom could do with updating.
Convenient location for the Harrogate International Centre. Comfy beds - goid power shower
Breakfast not included in the price. Bedroom being under the reception/office and floorboards being very creaky in the night.
