Friendly staff. Every question was answered; you are well organised. Very good breakfasts. Very convenient for the town centre and rail station.

A bit too warm in the room. I am used to the frozen north.

Loved the decor downstairs. Although bedroom more dated, the bed was amazingly comfy and the room warm and very clean.

Well located, easy to acess from Ripon Road, nice decor to reception, bar and breakfast areas. Clean comfortable room

Bedside table fell apart. Tv didn't work.

The breakfast we had was really nice. The outside beer garden was beautiful, and as we had gorgeous weather it was perfect (we would have stayed longer if the bar wouldn't have been so over priced!) Some rooms had lovely décor (just a shame not all our party had a nice room!)

Some of the rooms were a little out dated compared to the rest and looked in need of tlc. Also, ordering drinks at the bar took a long time as the staff didn't seem knowledgeable on even the simplest drinks. I ordered a pint of lager shandy and it took 10 minutes as the lady had to check if Amstel was lager or beer, then had to go and find lemonade, then put lager in first and she said she should have put lemonade in first, then it took forever to make. And when your hungover, waiting for a drink at the bar for ages is not the best of things! To top it off, it cost £4.40!!!!!!! My friend also ordered a vodka and orange which cost her over £6, so we decided to not drink at the bar and go elsewhere.

Staff weren't overly friendly. Bathroom shower had no water pressure.

Harrogate is a lovely town and Grants Hotel is in a perfect location. I did not have breakfast as off early but I thought the room was very good and clean for what I paid.I just needed a bed to break my journey up North so it was good and I would stay again.

The downstairs decor requires to be carried out through out the hotel. staff very friendley could not do enough for you , would stay again . good location just out of town, but not to far to walk . at a slow pace 5 mins max

could not controls the heat from the radiator would require temp stats on all.

Dated decor of room. Broken/items not working (reported at the time, but not fixed.) Terms of business (paying up front via booking.com.) This was not stated at any time.

Decor and bathrooms very dated and tired. curtains very cheap , lined curtains are definately needed to keep the light out.

Service was excellent Staff were very friendly & helpful bedroom was clean and in good condition

car park was small and not quite big enough for all the rooms (though they can assist with on street parking)
