Very noisey. Could hear the chap next door snoring!
Great location, good value. Lovely breakfast.
3 April 2015
Had no view other than other windows and roof tops from hotel room and breakfast didn't have full English options everyday, running out of beans and hash browns although the locally sourced bacon and sausages were delious
The town was beautiful and very friendly and historic

The dining room was a little cold and food overpriced. Breakfast was ok. Nice fresh fruit but bread could have been more interesting.
The room was cosy, bed comfortable. I particularly liked the round bath. I liked having a view of the main street
26 March 2015
Beakfast looked nice but little tasteless. Room could be little cleaner but we were a late booking.
Location. Really comfortable beds. Staff friendly.
23 March 2015
Perhaps dispense with the 'do it yourself' toaster at breakfast.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff especially impressed me.The atmosphere was relaxing and, as a solo traveller, I was made to feel welcome.Fine food. And wine, too!

19 March 2015
The room was not as shown on the web site, and needed up dating not enough staff to cover the so called bar and in my opinion the room was very expensive.

Breakfast perfectly edible but expect better for price of room.
Lovely bedroom and bathroom
16 March 2015
At £179.00 per night it was a bit expensive as we have stayed in better places (Fuzzy Duck in Armscote + Bears Paw in Warmingham Cheshire) for less money.
Nice friendly staff and good food
12 March 2015

10 March 2015
Would have been nice to have the breakfast cut off time at 10.30.
9 March 2015
some younger members off staff seemed inexperienced and not interested, hot breakfast of a good standard but cold buffet selection very poor. Bar lacked any atmosphere and service intermitent.

7 March 2015
Good hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent location
5 March 2015
mix up with the bill. A group of 6 of us were on one booking, another couple booked seperately. 2 couples had food, this was put onto the other couples bill. All very confusing, but sorted out. it would have been nice if the rooms had been near each other, but were put in totally different parts of the hotel. The rooms in the main hotels complained to me about the noise of the 'elephants' as people walked past their rooms and noise from downstairs from staff.
the rooms were lovely, bed was great! breakfast was good, good location.

The room was at the top of the building and the stairs were quite steep. also the room was too warm at night.
the location was perfect and the food was first class. All of the staff were brilliant
